Bump!
I had a couple of pms confirming that it would be better for them to meet on a Saturday and in the Blackheath place, so I would like to make this date official (unless there are strong objections of course!):
Saturday 17th April, 1-4 pm at the Age Exchange cafe, here is a link to the venue and how to get there: http://www.age-exchange.org.uk/about_us/visit.html
I am going to copy this on the first page as update for meeting. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Hi Guys,
I can't make this one, I'm having a knee op in 3 weeks time and won't be fully mobile by the time the meetup rocks up
Have a great time though and let me know any gossip!!
Ps - I got the job too :TWhether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -
Oh Icey what a pity, but there will be plenty more, don't worry!
Many congratulations for the job and hope you recover well and quickly from your knee op.Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
I'm not sure I can make this but would be very interested in exchanging my age if you could find out more details for me.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
me too, would like to go back to my early 30's please
Icy...hope your knee op is as painless as poss, and I still can't make bread like yours, what breadmaker do you have?
Caterina...17th is fine with me or any other date in april, if later is better for others0 -
17th April no good for me as it is a Saturday and we are playing at home. Hope you all have a good time. What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0

Hi all
I want to exchange my age too, but even better I would not mind exchanging DH's age, perhaps to mid-thirties (but retaining savvy and wisdom of older age?)
Reverbe sorry you cannot make it, there will be more opportunities and I am sure one day we will meet you. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

I hope to be able to treat myself to a little excursion to sunny Blackheath on 17th April (as long as I don't need any jabs or a medical!)
Well done with the job Icey77 and we will see praps at the next one -good luck with the knee-op!
I do like the idea of an age exchange and yes... Annie123 I would choose 25 I think as a good age (coz I would have started saving- ah well with hindsight I think we'd all have done that!)
I'll keep checking the OS meetup thread Caterina and Lilacillie and everyone else for any other developments re times etc
Pcb xMay you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without:cool:0 -
