Am having second thoughts at the mo. From the pics and text on other meetups I really dont think I will fit in and I really dont have anything of interest to say. I dont know anyone but if I do decide to go I hope I will find you all.

i've made tuna, mayo & red onion pasta salad and have a couple of tubs worth to bring with me

I did not have time to make hummus but bought two tubs of basic MrS (the one I often buy for me and family and it is nice), some apples, some tangerines, a bag of lettuce leaves and a bag of cherry tomatoes.

We all think like this sometimes and believe me we all have a worry about not fitting in - I for one have never really "fitted in" anywhere, but still managed to make good friends who love me just the way I am.

Your posts are always very interesting and you sound like an incredibly interesting person - please come along!

Re. finding the place and finding us, I have sent you the link to directions and the link to what I am going to look like (more or less). Really hope to see you on the day - how will we recognise you? Wear a safety pin somewhere visible!

Aw Marie you will be bitterly missed - we really must organise a meet in Dublin, how's early June for you? Hopefully a few OSers will be able to make it by ferry and stay in the nice hostel where I stayed! Else, let us know when you can plan a visit to the UK and we will do one meet then!

Except for Caterina, whom I have met once and not for long, I haven't met anyone else either, in fact most haven't met before.
Even if the only thing we all have in common is [STRIKE]being tight[/STRIKE] frugal, then thats enough

PM me and I'll give you my mob, then you won't get lost, know who you are meeting and where.
Not that I know where I'm going, but ioiwe does:D

and the above applies to anyone else worried about getting lost, arriving without knowing who to approach etc;)

Thinking on it I might make a sticky label badge with MSE on it.:D

ps. I have plenty of paper plates and plastic knives/forks/spoons and kitchen roll napkins

Hiya OS meet up crew! I'm looking forward to the visit and will be wearing a very large safety pin - please do not mistake it for a nappy pin as it's a kilt pin -no really it is- and the charity shop where I volunteer kindly gave it me!
