    Yes it does. Thanks x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Oh how eery. I just booked to go with my kids dad totally separately. I had no idea that it had been booked for 27th! I would like to say hello but am very self-conscious as I scoot around on my red scooter. Look forward to seeing you if only to say hello x
Molly, I haven't met all these mad people, but I can assure you that they are all very friendly, and if you DON'T try to find them and say hello they will probably accost ANYONE on a red scooter within half a mile of the place and say "Hello, are you Molly from MSE?" :rotfl:

Do it, you won't regret it, you can swap picnic food, and there's even another OH coming to keep your man company.

Haven't said that I can't be there myself, but I can't, so apologies for that.

I should be able to come to this now(will return the pm later). We don't seem to be playing at home that day but won't be taking part in the picnic sorry as I am on a strict diet at the moment.

Molly41, I hope you will come along with us!

Reverbe, it would be great if you could come along, looking forward to meeting you (and the offer is still there and will be open on the day if you just turn up at 11). The only reason that I might not be there, other than unforeseen illness, is if my lady gives birth on that day and calls me!

Savvy_Sue, sorry I won't see you on this occasion - please let me know if you ever come to London in the future, especially towards our neck of the woods!

The meet is DEFINITELY ON, there are a lot of people preparing for it, making picnic food etc... so even if I should be absent (I hope not!) due to unforeseen circumstances, I am sure that there will be others to welcome the new people.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Icey77 does it mean that we will recognise you by the patch on your eye and a parrot on your shoulder - or by your cutlass hanging on your belt? LOL

Excellent find, ifonlyitwaseasier! Thank you for posting it, here is the link to the offer:

    http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/pages/waterstones-card/1772/

Now all people need to do is go to their local Waterstones and have a card issued to them. You can do this online but it takes up to 28 days so this is too long to wait as our outing is next week.

Update on my birth lady: she told me she has a feeling that she might be ready to give birth next weekend, so please all of you cross fingers for me that she holds on for a few more days! If her intuition is right and I really cannot make it, I hope you all have a great time, though!
