I'm not sure that I am coming any more. It sounds nice, but that weekend is starting to look a little too busy for my liking.

It is very near where I live, though (15 mins on the bus) so if the fancy takes me I may just turn up on the day. I've got various mobile numbers including Caterina's so will let you know if I am on my way. But am definitely not committing.

Hope you can make it BargainRzl, meetups are not the same without you!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
  • ok so in the OS style of planning ahead,

shall we start to make a list of foods and divvy out who brings what?

i make a mean pasta salad and am happy to make a veggie one (non tuna!)
or i can bake a couple of loafs of bread or maybe bring some muffins, banana & choc chip perhaps?

    :)

Thank you, ifonlyitwaseasier, for suggesting the organisation of our picnic! Would LOVE some homemade bread!

I shall bring a bag of fruit and some hummus, hopefully homemade.

    Any more ideas?

How many loaves would be good?

  • i reckon a couple of loaves would be plenty, possibly sliced at home, can you imagine, officer"and whats this big knife for madam?" as you get hauled off!! lol

ok i'll pasta salad then, will make a bag worth (500g) as if wee have a variety then we'll not need lots of each.

bring our own plastic plates? or how about if someone can find a pack of paper ones cheaply and then they bring that instead of food?
