  • Matchless, I don't think that blatant advertising is allowed on this forum?
  • You're right, Isaac. I expected it to be removed but they must be relying on reports.

  • I tried everything from patch's to gum. The electronic cigarette far out ranked every one of them.

I tried several varieties but ended up sticking with the E-Lites Exec GOOD LUCK WITH IT
  • One battery, one atty, one charger = £35

How much do they charge P&P? It seems you have to enter payment details before finding out.

Today is the first time I've heard of e cigs. I'm going to order the matchless blue now and will let you know how I go on. I hope that's a good starting point? Perhaps someone can advise me, please.

Been smoking med strength cigs for about 35 yrs now, but in the last couple of years, I have become a chain smoker (mainly because I'm not restricted when I can smoke as I have been ill and at home most of the time). It is costing a fortune and I feel I am a slave to it. I'd love to be a non smoker because most of the cigs I smoke are because of addiction, habit, and boredom, but I do enjoy smoking so this may be the solution.
    Thanks
    Joanne

Any starting point is a good one, provided you're not unlucky and get a faulty kit.

I'm not sure whether you've already bought a Matchless during the night? Their "advertisement" seems to have been removed from the forum because it was spam, retailers are not allowed post on MSE without special permission and on certain terms.

If you still have not purchased, then there are better value e-cigs on the market than the Matchless (although there are no spectacular bargains at the mo), eg:

...where you can get 2 kits for £50 plus (I think) £2 P&P. Then you would have a starter kit fit to take you forward, plenty of batteries, 2 atomisers (the weakest link, often) and 2 chargers.

You can reuse the original cartridges, filling them with e-liquid of your own choice and thus both saving money and embarking on a taste adventure :)

  • Please everyone, disregard Happyjane50's post! She has spammed other forums about tte overpriced seller she has "bought" from :(

Old Trout (Joanne) if you enjoy smoking then e-cigs really are such a brilliant alternative. veronarona is right, matchless was spamming, but at least they where open & honest & not drastically overpriced - unlike the vendor Happyjane is promoting.
  • My wife smokes and she keeps mentioning about getting an electronic cigarette. Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who smokes around 10 a day of Menthol cigarettes? (I have never smoked so don't have a clue what would be suitable).

    Thanks...

As your wife is a light smoker, the following kit should suit - it is very good value because, unusually, it includes 2 atomisers with the 2 batteries, plus a 10ml bottle of juice as well as the 5 "Marlboro" cartridges of varying strengths that you get with most kits. One battery is auto (it is activated when you puff) and the other manual (you press a button to activate it - most of us graduate to manual batteries sooner or later). It's a Dutch company - one of us (All-Abouters) ordered juice on the 12th and it arrived today, the shipping charges are not bad at all:

    http://www.easy-eliquid.com/products/EASY-510-Electronic-Standard-KIT-%252b-10ml-%252d-d.o.a.-garantuee.html

Only thing is, I can't see that you can choose a flavour or strength for the 10ml juice - they do do menthol, so I'm going to ask them if it can be specified and how.

I expect that the supplied carts will be unpalatable to a menthol smoker, so to get started I suggest rinsing the "stuffing" in warm washing-up liquid and then plain water and pat them dry; wash and rinse the carts themselves. Then replace the stuffing and drip in e-liquid, squidging the stuffing up and down with pointy tweezers or suchlike.

If MrsDrake would like to join us at All-About, where there are long-term vapers (2 years plus) and newbies too, we can point her to where she can get fabulous stuffing and gorgeous minty juice, and she will be welcomed with open arms and any stoopid questions she'd like to ask will be answered with a smile :)

I have messaged the company re the juice flavour.

Please choose your 10ml flavour and fill this in at the end of your order in the "comment "box.
