  • Thank you Isaac - I was so upset at losing the link to our forum from my signature... I went off to email MSE and forgot to come back :(

To anyone who is curious about why there's that "we've had to remove your sig" message in my sig - they tell me they can't police all links in sigs and there have been so many advertising ones that they've had to ban all links.

Veronarona, I'm not surprised you are upset :( Even if they don't restore your sig (though I hope they do so), this forum's mods should remove what hey have changed it to ASAP IMHO - it wasn't a sig to sellers site!

Come on mods, we have worked tirelessly on that forum, with no financial gain, to try to help people find the best e-cigs at the best prices.

I did explain to them how e-cigs had "saved my life", Isaac, not in those words, and that I felt duty bound to help others. But it didn't cut no ice ;)

I'll see if I can change sig myself... there ya go. Any suggestions for improvement within the rules gratefully received!

  • Veronarona, I'm saddened to hear your explanation didn't cut ice:(

I've just added a sig & hope it is ok :)

Moderators, the link in my sig is just to a website to help people - Neither I or the moderators of that forum make any financial gain from it - far from it. We all give up a lot of our time to help people find the best deals. But if you do have a problem with my sig, please let me know why :)
  • Could you use these on a plane? My father in law is a nightmare on long flights when he can't smoke and this could be the solution for him.
I have realised I will never play the Dane! :(

Where are my medals? Everyone else on here has medals!! :p
  • skypie123, yes you can use them on a plane. There are even airline pilots that "vape" (use e-cigs).

If anyone is concerned though about attitudes to vaping on a plane or anywhere else in public, you can smoke in the toilets for instance as the vapour from an e-cig doesn't set off smoke alarms.

I'm thinking about trying out e-cigs again - I bought one a few months ago (can't remember the model number but it's almost exactly the same size as a real cig) and it was crap - the battery lasted 2 mins and it very rarely produced anything satisfactory

DSE901 seems to be the one everyone talks about so I might buy one and give it a go again :T

It's a good little starter and that's the one I started on nearly 2 years ago (it nearly makes me cry to remember the miracle of it :(:):p ) but there are more powerful and longer lasting models nowadays which do not look anything like real cigs. I wouldn't discourage anyone from going for a 901, though, if it meant getting them started - getting started is the most important thing.

  • Kilty, agrees with Veronarona, there is no way that I would discourage anyone from going with a mini DSE901 - it works so well & at the moment we have found a highly respected vendor selling a 901 starter kit for only £14.50 : -

But also as Veronarona says, there are more powerful and longer lasting models out there.
