    Hi All,

Hope you dont mind me jumping onboard this thread. I've had an email from wowcher today with an offer from Freedomcigarettes.com.

Offer is = Your e-cigarette starter kit box contains:
3 premium flavour cartridges - original tobacco or menthol.
Plus an extra 5 cartridge pack from a choice including: original tobacco, original menthol, tobacco lights or Java Juice (coffee).

I've not used these before but have read a bit on this thread and reckon I'll give them a go. The above offer is £9.99 +4.99p+p. I'm wondering though how they compare in size and weight to a standard cig? I've seen some in petrol stations that look huge in comparason and are heavy.

    Any advice?
    Thanks,
    Al x

Completely agrees with Karma & Lotus, don't waste your money, There are so much better e-cigs out there. Sites like that draw you in with so called special offers & then charge you a fortune for refills :(

    Hi everyone

Hope you don't mind me hijacking this thread!

I bought a SkyCig the other day - it arrived this morning (I used codes and paid £12 for starter kit which included 2 batteries, charging case, USB charger, 3 pin plug, 5 cartomizers and 15% off code for refills - although I've found a 30% off code I'll use as it works!).

Anyway, I've charged up the case, and the batteries are already full so I have screwed in a Tobacco Gold cartomizer to my battery. Now, I don't know if I'm doing something horribly wrong but it's scary...!

I took a few small primer puffs as instructed, and vapour started coming out - so far so good.

But when I go to take a proper drag, when I take it back I'm left choking and my eyes water!!! Are you not meant to smoke them like normal cigs?!!!

    Confused and feeling silly... :(

Elsie, you could try taking smaller drags until you get used to it!

That starter kit isn't bad for £12. You don't have to buy Sky Cig cartos, you can get some e-liquid and re-fill the ones you have a few times. Then you can use these

these can also be refilled, or you can buy empty ones and fill with a liquid of your choice

Try just taking it into your mouth and see if that helps.

E-cigs can seem very strong to people when they start. It's just a slightly different sensation to smoking.

Don't try an inhale it, you don't need to. The nicotine is absorbed through the skin in your mouth, just drag on the ecig, then blow it out again.

It may be worth going on here

    https://www.e-cig-reviews.com/

not for the reviews but for like the videos and watch how Scott inhales and exhales on the e-cig...

It's a tricky one getting used to it. Nope you don't use it like a cig...

    Hope that helps

As others have said, don't inhale too deeply to begin with.

A few years back, before I started using an e-cig, I had such a bad chest infection that a doctor gave me an inhaler & to begin with that made me choke.
  • I Have just ordered one of these on line and used the code QUIT38

This gets you the full starter kit for £11:99 and is a massive saving. Have tried a friends sky cig in the past and thought it time I gave it a go, they were gutted when I told them how cheap I got mine for....

Yep it is a good deal, certainly wouldn't be paying the full price tho! You need the pcc as the batteries are only 90mAh so will not last long. You can refill the cartos that come with the kit and these will fit too, either pre filled or empty to fill yourself

you may want to change your post, mods will delete it with the code there. Post the code on the codes and discount board and put a link in your post :)

Karma is right Stobbie, it is a good deal with the discount code, so go ahead & buy it folks to give e-cigs a try, you can't lose out a that price :) However, it's a loss leader, so don't go buying any refills from them, there really are far cheaper & better alternatives :)
