I hope not Prep, it does seem to be a bit of an overreaction!
Why not pop back over to AAEC, there is a 3 page thread debating this. Some very interesting point s of view0 -
Talk about an over reaction!
I wonder how the media would have dealt with the situation if the the "smoke" had been found to be vapour coming from someone's, cool bag due to frozen items defrosting giving off a vapour?0 -
Can I beg some help please, I bought some kit for DS2's dad and he's now decided that he is going to give up (again!) so he's using patches but he's still smoking his electronic cigarette with 24mg liquid. On the plus side he is at least not filling his lungs with tar but... where would be best for some nicotine free (or at least very low) liquid? His favorite liquid up til now has been the Hangsen 'Storm' which is described as "Catering for those who prefer a harsher tobacco flavour, the HS Storm has a very strong and rich tobacco taste that will win around even the most-hardened of tobacco users."Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

I know nothing about the Hangsen Storm but you should be able to get it at a lower strength.
If not you can get some flavourings and make your own nicotine free liquid.

Stagecoach have banned e-cigs on all their buses...apparently it's in their conditions of travel as I was courteously informed by their director of communications (see my post on aaec) this pm.....

So do I, I would bet it wasn't there last week - I know I am being naughty and political but I honestly feel there was no phone call and no vapour, I think they wanted to try out their moves before the olympics and chose an electronic cig as an excuse - if anyone has heard of a person who was on the coach admitting they did have one then I am sorry, but so far I have not read that yet.
To me if I saw vapour coming out of anyone's bag even after they had poured liquid in it I would not immediately think it was a bomb I would think something in the bag maybe shorted and it was smoke - vapour does not have a label on it saying hey I am vapour not smoke.....
Right said what has been on my mind since I watched the videos of the whole carry on on the toll road.......our devices are not giving the government money so they are fair game to them........I don't know what I would do without mine, still be smokingNeed to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

Oh yes, without a doubt the cops treated that as a dry run for their new toys and powers. They just couldn't resist it and f e c k to anyone who was inconvenienced.
I thought the Inspector or whoever in charge was an idiot.0 -
Yeah I agree....
Come to think of it....and when I wrote to him he even accused me of 'smoking' an e-cig. I mean...How rude can that 'director of communications' be :dance:
