Debt-free and Proud!
As one of the lucky, lucky b******ds who got his money last Monday (but still waiting for the £20 refund on the CHAPS charge), I really feel for those of you who are still waiting, especially those who have received the £20 refund but not their money (talk about rubbing salt into the wound!!!). Watching this thread and praying it will be flooded with "I've got my money" postings soon! :)

I see that I have been refunded my CHAPS fee in my account where the payment was received on the same day yet no refund in the account (my wife’s) where the payment is still AWOL (unfortunately the much larger of the payments). I'm convinced the ING/Administrators' office is full of monkeys randomly pressing buttons.

So I now have £20 in my KE account. Do I dare transfer it out?!?!?

Dare I say this .. at the very least keep the account open until the interest’s been added on the 31st
• me too ! £20 has come home to roost - just wish the other £45K would follow its lead !!

Ippy, and others - you've been here from the start - your recent "promises" from ING posted here sound good. I sincerely hope so... I've been settled, but I'm still working to resolve my brother's account on his behalf.... exactly same issues and still waiting a call (later today?)... good lcuk (OK, if FCUK can do it for smart advertising, I can do something similar (although 'twas nought but finger trouble) for mis-spelling.... :rotfl: )
The 'Mad' refers to my state of mind, not my degree of anger.... (still crazy after all these years)
• Hi northernstar, this was the email address someone quoted in a previous post today: Alastair.Hemmings@ingdirect.co.uk
Don't know if it's the same as the one you've got.

TheCaretaker, he's had his IT dept change his email (just bounced for me too) probably went too public!

I have never been so happy to see £20 in my life, at last as someone said earlier, FINALLY looks like things are starting to move! :T

Fingers crossed for tomorrow for everyone else waiting for their cash.
