New Kaupthing CHAPS/BACS Transfers discussion - Friday 24th October

Supervisor called Giles from KE called me and told me that the details I gave to Samantha on Friday are being processed and I will be called within 48 working hours from them, ie. tomorrow. I suppose I could begin to live with that, if only I could believe it will happen.

Good day - as you know there are at least 500 people still waiting for transfer payments - at least 70 of these people are listed on MSE thread.

I have attached the ING update statement from last Thursday. Why is this statement false and why has there been no further accurate update to the website?

Well - there's a surprise. My email has been bounced back saying that it is an invalid email address. Strange - because it's the email address that AH himself has contacted me from previously.

Alistair - when you read this please respond on this website and get the ING statement updated.
If anyone can tell me his new email address I will try again

If you see my post above, they were able to say this because they HAD actually released ALL payments by 20th ........BUT 0.5% didn't go thru ......... and they didn't bother to let us 0.5% know!!

But the statement was correct apparently.

I have just checked back to see how things have been moving following a few days away. Sorry to see that not all are satisfied yet but unless I'm mistaken it looks as though accounts are at least now being looked at individually.

Hang in there, easy to say I know, but I'm sure all will be settled in the end. The main thing is that everybody gets there savings back intact.

Will contiunue to watch from the wings.

I have just checked my KE and a further £20 CHAPS fee has been refunded and back dated to the 8th!

Phoned up KE, nobody has a clue why this has happened.

Just checked mine and £20 CHAPS has now been refunded to the 7th. That is a change from the weekend so something is stirring. So now £20 better off and £33k down!

I transfered some cash out of KE a while back before all this kicked off, so i know the system works : My bank details are correct : My Halifax account accepts Bacs and chaps. need i go on?
