  • No offence to Dan (obviously) but I don't believe a word of it.
    My bank have NEVER 'bounced' an incoming chaps or bacs and I've done dozens of them and I've double checked the account information.

    COME UP WITH SOMETHING MORE BELIEVABLE THAN THAT ING - P'LEESE - DO YOU THINK WE'VE JUST ARRIVED HERE ON BANANA BOATS? (Once again no offence intended to all my friends here).

    True... Have checked... all my details are correct...
    plus I have had chaps payments into my account, as recently as this time last year.

    One thought... I dont think they 'do' have access to our accounts as such...
    Just thinking back to my call, and the operator asked for the exact same details as you need for logging in..? email addy, memorable name, and three random characters from your password.
    Do you think they are just using that to log into our accounts (via the net like we do) so they can see the correct amount? or am I being paranoid? :confused:

    yep we were all fooled by MR nice guy, no more MR NICE GUY as Alice Cooper once sung !!!!

    I LOGGED MY MISSING MONEY WITH ING LAST WEEK, JUST PHONED AGAIN AND THEY HAD NO RECORD OF MY CALL.

    Please make sure you call ING and ask for a search to be instigated. IF YOU PHONED LAST WEEK THEN PHONE AGAIN TODAY.

    I wasn't asked any of those questions, just my name and postcode. She then checked that the linked account and e mail details she had were correct and proceeded to tell me the amount I had withdrawn on the 7th by CHAPS.

    The Fury I didnt log my original 8th chaps transfer as like the rest of us I was waiting for it to appear.

    Now my fixed term amalgamated into my savings account, I made another bacs for the money to be transferred.
  • Just noticed on my KE account, I did a chaps on 15/10 - which I have not rec'd by the way, and they took £20 fee out, but just logged on and they refunded £20 chaps fee but the refund is dated 7/10 !!! But no sign of money yet, at least they've refunded the £20 - whippeeee doooooo... :mad:
  • Spoke to Emma at KE on 08451 31 32 34 and got the usual waffle. I asked to speak to a supervisor but there was none available but when one is free he/she will call me at home. I was told this @ 15.12pm.
    Congrats Ippylady on your progress.
    Just imagine all this just so we can have our own money!
    Looks like noone has been or will be paid today!
