Chaps tend to start arriving around 3.00pm in my experience.
CHAPS 8th received 20th into HSBC A/C
BACS on the 17th and 20th received 22nd into HSBC A/C
CHAPS fee refunded 29/10
I can survive any crisis - I have kids!!

I thought, ING Spokesperson said 0.5%, not 0.1%. But then - 500 out of 42000 make 1.2%, not 0.5%!!!

Told you I was bad at maths, looks like ING were too! Thanks for working that out properly for me. ;)

They implied that the money had left KE and had been sent, but they probably only know what they can see on the screen, they said they would investigate. But this is the only time that when I have rang them they actually looked into it on screen.
I did the same last week and after taking me through security. we were looking at my! account, she even told me what the balance was, for the first time in three weeks i was not a generic customer chasing a balance that did not exist.
I am frustrated ,angry, but also optimistic.
Chaps requested 8th October : money left my account 8th October : £20 chaps fee deducted : destination account Halifax : Chaps fee of 20 re-funded to my KE account 27th October but dated 8th October: On the spreadsheet and received generic e-mail 29th October. Funds paid to my linked account 4th November

Were some people given reference numbers, and what were they for please, cos I don't got one?
Yes i was given a reference number, it was the account number of my receiving bank. What is it for? I guess like any company, if and when you ring again, give your name and this reference number and they will easily sort out your problem. LOL

Good luck everyone
Non illigitamus carborundum!!
• The thing that surprises me is that there is not more FTB people on here complaining... perhaps everyone with ftb's have decided to stay with ING now that they've said they'll honour the interest rates until maturity?

Good Aftrnoon all good people,

Hi soulsaver, it seems ING made this statement of honouring rates after we drew our money out which is par for the course for them !!

I broke my FTB ON 7TH OCT, and made a chaps out to withdraw themoney in my KE SAVINGS ACCOUNT ON 8TH OCT, no money was sent from my savings account at all

Late on 23RD OCT MY FTB was broken and amalgamated into my savings account.

Then had to make a bacs transfer on 24TH OCT to transfer the whole amount out, so by rights that should be in my linked account by Wednesday
hmmmm we shall see !!

I'm really sorry that there still appears to be an unacceptable amount of people that have not got their money, you all have my sympathies - thats all I can offer for such a rubbish situation
