Just phoned them and been told there are 500 of us still waiting and details taken (again!). Promised all will be done by CHAPS today and tomorrow. Hope springs eternal.

Crikey, that's a lot. Assuming the 500 refers to the backlog from before 13th October, it shows that the 70 or so identified here are just the tip of the iceberg (excuse the pun). It seems that K-E are still only saying that details will be passed to the relevant dept and that payments will be made 27th or 28th. They've been saying similar for the past 2 weeks. I hope it's not the case and that everyone gets paid very soon but, given past failures to honour similar promises, I suspect these dates may be optimistic. What's needed is an assurance that an outstanding payment has been identified and that it has been dealt with, not will be dealt with. This is least they should do, but I bet they won't offer to do so.

It's been a long time since I was at school, but isn't 500 closer to over .3% and not .1% as stated by the ING Spokesperson?

    I thought, ING Spokesperson said 0.5%, not 0.1%. But then - 500 out of 42000 make 1.2%, not 0.5%!!!

  • I did a 12 month IT Contract for Ernst & Young in Mayfair when Michael Bright’s Independent Insurance company went bust, the offices at E&Y where manic, virtually over night from calm friendly chatter to almost aggression. I can visualize what’s going on in the backroom right now
  • Deja Vu.

Monday morning, no money. Sick of it.

    20th day without money now.

Hi still waiting too - not quite as long as you guys (mine is the FTB broken 16th Oct). On the positive side I not the poll is down to (only) 40% waiting... from over 50 on friday... so progress but bl**dy slow.
The thing that surprises me is that there is not more FTB people on here complaining... perhaps everyone with ftb's have decided to stay with ING now that they've said they'll honour the interest rates until maturity?

I worked for a number of years in a Big-4 insolvency department and this mess does not surprise me in the slightest. I would imagine that whilst all the qualified, senior members of the administrators team are working 18 hour days discussing “high level strategy” and “the smooth realisation of capital” the payment of our money has been entrusted to a back-office team with little grasp of the real life effect of their actions (or lack of them).

    CHAPS 07/10 15k, received 07/10, CHAPSx2, 1 refunded
    CHAPS 07/10 30k, received 30/10, CHAPSx1, 1 refunded
Told clearing bank rejected payment - both payments to same linked account
