The good news is, unlike me following daily fruitless telephone calls,she knows where hers is even if she can't get at it!

My money has arrived at last! Of course it is minus the £20 CHAPS fee but I'll be after them for that and all the interest from the 8th of October to the 10th of November.

I don't know if it made the difference but if you haven't got you're money yet email Alastair Hemming. Maybe that is what finally got them to cough up.

Looks like this well-mannered lady will go onto my Christmas card list. I hope this helps others still missing money from the CHAPS non-event.

Sorry to be a killjoy, but I got virtually the same message over a week ago and have heard nothing since. Maybe it will appear along with the missing interest at the end of the month.

Having said that, please everybody remember the other thread for this discussion about missing interest and CHAPS fee refunds so that this main thread doesn't get sidetracked from its main purpose of providing information and support for those still waiting.

With respect! In this current situation we are losing track.
Why of course? check your KE account! that is where the chaps refund will go to, unless you have closed it. This would be normal banking practice, to refund the charge back to the the account it was debited to.

It isn't in my Kaupthing Edge account. That was kept open by the interest paid on the first 8 days of October. I'm an expert at checking my Kaupthing Edge and nominated bank account now thanks to the practice I've had in the last 34 days.
