I would be more than willing to contribute money. Is this a viable idea?
I was lucky enough to get my money through a couple of week ago, I have been watching the posts and intend being here until eveyone has been paid, I am also more than willing to contribute money for a HUGE newspaper advert....the bigger the better, ING will never see any of my savings after this fiasco.  :mad:0 -
best course of action .....go to reading and bang on some desks...drag the local press along for good measure......b***ards..CHAPS OUT 7th - arrived 31/10
CHAPS fee refunded 27th, dated 7th0 -
IMO the one person who should be championing the cause of posters on this thread is the owner of this site.

Are you referring to Martin? All he did was to pick the best interest rates, and then you choose at your discretion (which I, and many others did). MSE certainly NEVER gave any hints as to the financial stability of various banks, and I refer not only to the Icelandic ones - we've had our OWN Brit banks take a huge dive ( NR / B&B / RBS / NatWest(OK part of RBS) / HBOS )... it's all up to the individual saver - and I for one am truly glad that this forum / thread is made availabe and supported for all those that have had, and still are, experiencing problems....
Don't blame the site owner.... (and if we are talking about the same thing, I do believe the site owner is in regualr contact with KE / ING / FSA / FSCS in relation to all of this..... read the site owner's posts in this and earlier related threads dating from 30 days ago)
(my opinion only)The 'Mad' refers to my state of mind, not my degree of anger.... (still crazy after all these years)0 -

If so, here's a relevant web page:

Thanks Northernstar
Have just sent an email to Mr Darling - let's see what, if anything, happens.

Although I went through the nightmare of not knowing where my money was for 2 weeks, I received it all back, including CHAPS fee and the highest interest available.
It is unforgivable to keep putting the remaining savers though hell but please keep it in perspective.
I think a half page free newspaper reported article would be more uncomfortable to ING than a very a expensive 2” square ad.0 -
Have just sent the following email to Kaupthing Edge - maybe others on the site would also like to write to them ..... lets show our support to those still waiting, lets make sure ING / Kaupthing Edge know its not just the 29 who are still watching and waiting .....! Maybe if they got 500+ emails it might help!
There are still 29 people named on the MoneySavingExpert.com website on "our" blog who have still not received their money. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Are you trying to kill your customers because if this goes on much longer you may end up with a death on your hands as the remaining people are suffering so much stress. I haven't forgotten how stressful it was waiting and receiving promise after promise only to be let down AGAIN. When are you going to sort out the remaining payments because as long as there are still outstanding payments there are many of us already paid out still watching and seeing how bad you really are.
For all those still waiting ..... DO SOMETHING!!
Sorry folks, surprisingly (NOT) I didn't get a response. I really feel it for you all, but will keep up the pressure.CHAPS requested 6th OCTOBER to HSBC Link Acc

If anything it will make this thread famous
Hi Zaphod and Northern Star, I too have sent an email for you all, will let you know if I get a response. I have asked Mr Darling to check out the thread to see what misery ING are causing. Fingers crossed.

Really would suggest EVERYONE waiting should do this.......this is either sheer incompetence, fraud or theft.Way back in this thread - someone rang Maggie Mills at Ernst and Young , and it seemed to have an effect for that individual. It might be worth a try!
See
http://www.ey.com/global/content.nsf...ing_-_ContactsIt HAS to be one of them!!!!
The original idea of this came from GREECIAN .I took his advice and e-mailed her and every other director on the page, explaining my predicament, giving my name, address and account number. (I did not include any user names or account passwords!)
I did not get any replies, however on Tuesday, three days later, i got my money back. Coincedence, probobly, but who knows, in these circumstances its worth trying anything.Chaps requested 8th October : money left my account 8th October : £20 chaps fee deducted : destination account Halifax : Chaps fee of 20 re-funded to my KE account 27th October but dated 8th October: On the spreadsheet and received generic e-mail 29th October. Funds paid to my linked account 4th November0
