New Kaupthing CHAPS/BACS Transfers discussion - Friday 24th October

Hi theFury - great work with the list. How many people on the list have transactions lost dating from after 8th October? If there are any, then these CAN'T be caught up in the period when KE was going under.

Telephoned KE this morning and now told it will be resolved in 48hrs or to ring again on Friday. Transaction numbers seem meaningless.
Also e mail to Maggie Mills and Alastair Hemmings last week with no response.

Have tried ringing Times re advertising for info.Advertising dept not open til 9.am tomorrow.I guess any newspaper will do! Nipping out for firework duties but back here later. Need some idea of rates and timescale as i havent the foggiest idea about putting big ads in newspapers!

I'm sooooo miserable.

I've had yet another unproductive day workwise / moneywise. I am up for contributing to anything which might help us en masse - ads, pressure group marches, pleading, lobbying, crying, wearing a red nose...I dont care. I just want us all to be reunited with our hard earned moneyChristmas is looking lean.

We need someone affected by KEs lack of customer servcie twho knows the advertising business to take the lead here.

I've got my money now but I'm willing to contribute for the good of others and to put pressure on KE for a proper response to its failings.

Good point normanb. Maybe even a plea throughout the MSE site as a whole to see if there are any willing ables in the business that could help us out?

To clarify, I also got the cash I requested paid into my linked account on the 17th Oct deadline
