I've called more or less every other day and am also tired of being told that either the money will arrive in 48 hours or that someone will call me directly in 48 hours, and then absolutely nothing happening.
Ironically, I wanted to withdraw my money to put into another ING account. Fat chance of that happening now ING ... you've lost me for life.
ING ARE YOU WATCHING...READ THE LAST PARAGRAPH.
THIS STATEMENT APPLIES TO ALMOST EVERYONE ON THIS THREAD.2 accounts:-
1/ BACS requested 7th -left KE 8th - funds received Fri 17th
2/ CHAPS requested 7th - left KE 8th - funds received Thurs 30th Oct.
CHAPS fees returned 27.10.08

3.06pm - just had a call from Jemma at KE in response to my (increasingly) nasty emails. It would seem that they are compiling yet another spreadsheet at the request of ING and I had to, yet again, give all my details.
She said that they thought all the payments had gone through and only found out this morning that they hadn't.
She could give me no reference number or no time scale as to when I would receive my money.
I feel I have been here before!0 -
I got my money through Friday 31 October but I'm not leaving this thread until I see that everyone gets paid out.
I suggest, once more, that KE do not appear to know, from their own records, who has a transaction missing. Otherwise, a simple email to every affected customer at the outset would have not only been easy to do but d*mn well obligatory!
As fas as I'm aware, these CHAPS and BACS transfers work on a handshake principle and confirm to each other's computer systems whether transactions were complete and successful. A query of the KE database records should show immediately which transcations were unsuccessful and could spit out affected sustomer email addresses within seconds.
So why are they waiting for customers to notice that the KE-Clearing Bank-Linked Account transaction failed and for customers to apply to KE get themselves put on "spreadsheet" lists? Is it that they really can't find out from their own records who has missing payments?
Nothing about KE/ING would surprise me now.0 -
Come on Martin Lewis, with respect mate, kick some butt0
-
Doesn't Martin work on his TV programme all day today?
I hope that there may be another trickle of payments through today altho' they do seem to be later & later each day. What a nightmare for folks still waiting!0 -
Finally got my money on 29th after a CHAPS on 7th and really thought that TheFury's work would be well and truly over by now. I keep on reading posts and am gutted for those not paid, I remember how it felt. Can only hope your ordeal is over soon.0

If you can see your money in the account and do not need it right now,you might be well advised to leave it there untill this backlog has been cleared. You could become another casualty.
Nope, it's gone from my account at KE, vanished into thin air.. I need to pay my tax bill, so it looks like I will have HMC&E knocking on my door pretty soon for the clothes off my back !0 -
I've been out all day and really thought that you guys would have received your money ..... what I find most amazing is that as quick as names are coming off Furys list, then more are going on.... when is this nightmare going to end!
I still have money in KE fixed interest due to mature 14th Nov..originally I was thinking of waiting to see what ING were offering and maybe leaving it with them .... now NO WAY (only problem is when will it be safe to move it - I couldn't go through all this again!)
Fingers crossed for all of you still waiting - COME ON ING!CHAPS requested 10 Oct, left KE 15 Oct, finally arrived 18.00, 4th Nov0 -
I see that noone at all has received money today and only a few yesterday, so what the hell is going on? I've just rung ING and K E again; the ING lady took my details blah blah etc and will really try hard to do something for me while the nice lady at K E confessed that they knew only what Ernst and Young told them. She also said that it would be a waste of time ringing the latter as they won't talk to anyone, including K E!!!!!!!!!!!
Such a ****ING mess; I can't believe that this is happening and I'm beginning to wonder if I'll lose my money, though should that happen I'll make sure somehow that heads roll!!!0 -

Don,t quote me on this but I have made several transfers in the last 10 days and all arrived via backs OK. I shut down my fixed interest too. Not worth thinking how a transfer will take place to ING systems given the problems that exist here.
My money is now as safe as I can make it and thats not with ING.0
