Hi folks,
Have gotten hold of ING and they will be posting a message for the savers who haven't yet received their transfers in a little while (He was just driving home).
Obviously money won't be coming in today now, but they continue to confirm that no money will be lost at all, thousands have been processed and the rest will (touch wood) be clearing into destination accounts early next week.
I can only imagine how frustrating this is, I hope you manage to have good weekends, and rest assured we will keep on this until everyone has gotten every penny back.

Just logged in and I am so disappointed that those people waiting on money have still not received it. It is disgraceful. I was in the same position last Friday and I know how stressful it was then, so it must be doubly so when you have to go through the same thing again. My money arrived last Monday around 3pm, along with a whole host of others. I just hope that if the money isn't in your account today, then there will be another flood coming through on Monday. At one stage, I had considered putting money in to ING, but I certainly won't be now.
CHAPs Transfer 7/10 arrived 20/10 Halifax :mad:0 -

We are finding this can be for a variety of reasons such as some banks not accepting CHAPS payments or incorrect destination account information. To deal with these we have set up a process for the call centre staff to capture your information and transaction details so that your individual case can be investigated. The number to use is 0845 131 32 34 and I just tried it myself and it answered within two rings. Below is the update we have posted on the Kaupthing Edge website and as you will see we are now focussing on refunding CHAP fees and the loss of interest due to payment delays.
Please keep checking the Kaupthing Edge website for updates and we expect to be able to announce in the next few days everything is working normally.
Many thanks for your patience while we have worked to resolve these issues

More news from ING Group
ING’s position as a strong and healthy bank has been boosted by the Dutch Government. It is making a €10 billion investment in ING and comes at a time when Governments all over the world are taking steps to support their major banks. This means ING is now an even stronger company for you to have your savings with.
HEY ING Spokesperson!! To have the neck to come to this thread/site this morning with this statement is beyond comprehension. You gave people hope when clearly there was none! You come on to this site and come across as the nice guy when in fact you are pathetic!......Strong word I know but you only have yourself to blame!! And what really boils my blood is those little pathetic plugs you keep inserting in the latter paragraphs!!
The good people of this site demand a full, transparent and honest explenation of your conduct throughout this sorry debacle - And they damand it NOW!!!

Dear Johan De Wit
Here is a copy of an email which I have just sent to Johan De Wit, CEO of ING
Dear Johan De Wit
As of 5.30pm today October 24th, there are 46 people on a thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1240713&page=9 who still have not received their transfers from KE. I assume that there are other people, who are not on that website, who are also waiting for money.
It is important to remember that this money BELONGS to the people concerned.
I received my payment from 9/10 on 22/10. I know personally how ill this has made me.
I can only imagine how it is for those people who have been let down again. In addition to causing extreme financial problems for people, ING's inability to carry out the actions that it states on the KE website, has and is causing serious emotional and health problems for many people.
The people who are responsible for this debacle should be ashamed of themselvesKE veteran - life seemed so much simpler then!0 -

Dear Mr *******,
We have today been advised by ING that the remainder of these withdrawals have been processed and you can expect to see it clear into your linked account by Monday 27th October.
We apologise for the delay and any frustration this may have caused.

But I don't understand WHY there no chaps payments (7th, 8th onwards) through today if they cleared the last of them last night, surely there would have been more than a couple of people celebrating................0 -
