Sorry if this has been posted before, but this in on the FSCS website"FSCS is working closely with the Newcastle Building Society on the repayment arrangements. The building society provided Icesave's online banking facility and is playing a key part in the process which uses their existing infrastructure to host the FSCS process.
The FSCS has already stepped in to help more than 2.7m UK consumers as a result of the recent problems at Bradford and Bingley, Heritable and Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander. It is now processing compensation applications from customers of Heritable and Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander whose accounts were not transferred to ING Direct.0 -
This is my first post on this forum.
I'm in the same position as many others - I attempted 2 chaps transfers on 8th Oct. First one arrived last week, no sign of the second.
I agree that this thread has been a lifeline.0 -

Looks like the delay is caused because our Money was not transferred to ING (7th/8th October transfers) Interesting.

Just lodged my complaint with Ombundsman - the person I spoke to was well aware of the problems with KE/ING and E&Y, they were reluctant to take details, explaining that ING have 8 weeks to resolve problem, and by that time they hoped all would be resolved. I explained that I felt I needed to do something concrete, I just couldn't sit and wait. At least now I know that it should be sorted before Christmas !!0

This is KSF & not Kaupthing Edge. The spin that came out at the time was, that this would effect 3000 account holders who did NOT hold an internet based account with Kaupthing edge - Look into what you read carefully!
I am in the mind now that everone involved in this thread 'Including those of us who have been paid' Should organise a collective fund & mount some sort of legal challenge what ever happens
Are there any lawers on this site? - We need to at the very least take some legal advice & guidance! It's all right everyone supporting each other & exploring the many theories as well as lies that have come from KE/ING & eventually run ourselves ragged in the process of constanly running around in circles. But NOW is the time to get something absolutely legal on the cards & recorded. Lets get the whole truth at least
100% support from me for those of who are still waiting

The next step is taking legal action. I'm exploring what alternatives I have...
Someone suggested going thru Her Majesty's Court Service (https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/). Are there any other venues that anyone can suggest?
Thanks0 -
