I cant believe how busy its been on here again today, its taken me ages to catch up again. I havnt been online all day as I had a docs app this morning ( got the Tramodol) then I had my 18 month old granddaughter this afternoon, she is so sweet and good as gold, but still wore me out as my back is really sore now the anaesthetic from the jab I had yesterday has worn off.
I've got the pain management course tomorrow 12 - 3 so I will try and get on here before I go.
Unity - Im not sure what to do about Monday and my laptop, I dont want to risk anything, but on the other hand will really miss it. How sad is that ? I cant imagine how we ever coped without comps ?

Hi Suep,
Good luck with the PMP - I really hope it works for you.
I hope that Monday 24th turns out to be just another 'Millennium Bug' scenario  and it is supposed to be specifically targeting the shopping sites. Still since we've both had problems before and know how damned difficult they were to overcome I can't help being overly cautious. Mind you thinking about it, DD2 is coming up and we have the hairdresser coming round on Monday so I probably wouldn't get the chance to get here anyway.

BZ - when I saw my dr about getting Tramodol, she said Id have to stop taking the co-codomol as the two cant be mixed, she said if I needed additional pain releif to take paracetomol. I must say although Im still in quite a bit of pain on my right side, the Tramodol has dulled it and made me feel so spacey I dont really care about it.
I just hope I can concentrate enough to take in what they are saying at the pain management course today.
Unity - I also heard from the Uros nurse yesterday and Im starting the cystistat instills in January, she said it was to treat my interstitial cystitis, although I havnt actually been given a dx yet !
Hope you all have a good day, Id better go and get ready now.

Adding my tuppence's worth. I work as a benefit advisor and the people I have seen with ME/CFS/FM tend to lay it on thick and claim they're virtually unable to do absolutely anything 24/7. I can recall various tribunals where claimants (unknowingly) are seen getting out of their car unaided, then decorating themselves with the obligatory crutch, neck brace etc etc. The worst case was when a young girl claimed she had to give up her studies as she was so weak. She attended with her mother in a wheelchair and said she was housebound. yet several hours after the tribunal I seen her in full jogging gear running past my apartment block. Now I appreciate there will be people (like the aforementioned) taking it to the extreme but it then paints the genuine people in the same case IMHO and the genuine sufferers will get lumped into that category by many.
So easy to take the moral high-ground where you're talking from a position of blissful ignorance isn't it.
I sincerely hope that neither you nor any person close to you suffers any debilitating disease. Only this would allow you to talk with any kind of authority.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
sue p my gp prescribes tramadol and cocodamol (500/30) together.I don't think paracetemol on top of cocodamol would be good for you as cocodamol has paracetemol in it.So do some forms of tramadol, but not all.I can take ibuprofen with it and take diclofenac and robaxin when necessary.Just dont expect a sensible conversation!Every day above ground is a good one0

whats the marshmallow root?
When the herbalist said valerian and marshmallow I had visions of a glass of valerian with white and pink marshmallows floating in it :rotfl:. Instead there is a plant called marshmallow so it is just the cleaned and chopped up root added to the valerian and left to steep all day.
The truth of the matter is that due to being especially foggy these past couple of days I have forgotten to get the stuff ready . However I found a packet of Temazepam in my meds bag that I had discounted after trying them - thinking they made matters worse. I have taken them and had less problems. Don't get me wrong, I am aware that I'm still dreaming, but things are a lot less vivid and I feel as if I am somehow removed from the dreams - not so terrified .
Tonight I will be sleeping without taking anything as I know that if taken for any length of time these meds become less effective. At least now I know I have a choice - Temazepam, Zopiclone or stinky stuff :rotfl:.Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

I had a horrible day emotionally yesterday and wanted to say thanks to BZ and s/e for allowing me to vent in a cathartic stream of conciousness.
Trying to pick myself up a bit today and will try to keep busy as poss.
Why, oh why, oh why, can't I get a spacey feeling with narcotics! It's not fair!!!! :rotfl:
p.s. Unity, I've always loved photography. Not portraits, but nature and particularly opposing textures such as wood and stone together in black and white. I envy you your talent. I don't have the patience for what you do and would throw a 2 year old's foot stamping tantrum the firs time anything went wrong. Maybe I have to admit I'm deficient in EQ! :rolleyes:I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
p.s. My cat is immune to catnip. How can I introduce her to Valerian? I've only ever seen it in Bach Remedies which I am a masive fan of.

If you just want to order a small amount try https://www.spellboundsupplies.co.uk - but don't be surprised if the postman gives you funny looks - it really does stink - even through plastic bags and jiffy packaging :rotfl:.
If you come up with an idea for the photo just let me know and we'll see what we can do, I did mean it, it wasn't just an idle offer.
Howdy crutches from me too:wave:Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever
