i just cannot figure out how you all do the multi quotes, i can do one and thats it .... i know my limitations :o

anyway thank you for saying to come on and vent but i just havent the energy?? you know when you reach the stage of just no energy for any emotions at all??

iv really tried hard to remember what everyone said to reply to you all and its totally gone!!

bigzippy i hope your head is better soon xx i start each day with a bad head and end it that way usually too as im so tired at both ends of the day.
i hope things work out ok with your oh job and wages, stress like that makes everything feel so much worse

crutches i hope your daughter recovers quickly xx i feel for you as my mum, when we broke up for the summer holidays, fell and broke her ankle so we spent quite a bit of time each week at the fracture clinic, no where near as long as you and that was terrible enough for me on those chairs [ i wont go into how she had to live with me for the full 6 weeks!!! ]

CwtA i have a passion for books :) i buy rather a lot but have to be feeling ok to read as i read the same page over and over sometimes lol. Theres certain authors i just have to buy all the books and just stock pile until i have a few weeks where i get the reading bug and get through a few

unity i am most impressed by your online GP appointment booking :T i wish our surgery did that and you could bypass the scary, scary receptionists who tut and make you feel very guilty for wanting to actually see a GP

sharon59 I hope your back improved during the day, you made me smile at the saddle comment as i havent a clue if i have one of those either, i do know i have saddle bags though on my thighs?? do they count?

hello to everyone else and i apologise if iv have missed anyone obvious that i should have replied to :o but it has taken me about 20 minutes so far to get this written as i have had to correct myself constantly and keep dding letters in and take numerous letters out that for somereason appear in the middle of words!! are my fingers suddenly really fat that i hit 2 keys??:rotfl:

Hi, my daughters friend has Fibromyalgia and is in constant pain, it is terrible to watch. But she takes Phosphatidyl Serine, she found it on here and apparently it is brilliant. She says it works within 30minutes! Not joking! I watched her in agony one day and literally half an hour later she had no pain?

It is natural and available from the net I believe, I have heard it is remarkable. This is the link

Must be worth a go! Just lettin ya know;)

do you mind me asking if you have some connection to this site as all your posts have the link in them and in different threads ? i dont mean to be rude, you just seem to have posted in very different threads with the same link

Wanna know the trick? You put [ quote = poster's name ] (without the spaces) at the beginning and [ / quote ] at the end :)

I know exactly what you mean, but sometimes you get so mad it gives you energy - don't you find? (I feel a Dylan Moran quote coming on.... "I hate you so much it gives me ENERGY!" :rotfl:)

Dude, I can't hardly feel a thing right now, the concoction of drugs has kicked in and I'm fairly spaced out!! :p
The stress factors is a whole 'nother matter.... but these things will happen

There's no need for hospitals to have the most uncomfortable beds/gurneys/chairs in the world! It gives me agony every time I go to an appt (whether it's for me or OH's mum) or get taken in for an asthma attack etc etc etc.
Seconding the recovery wishes for your daughter Crutches

Ditto. I go through phases with books where I'm really in the mood. And then spells where I just can't think of anything I would rather do less... cos I just know I don't have the attention span

What is that about really? The worst is those stupid triage systems that they think is the greatest idea in the worst. Stupid people. The receptionists at my GPs know me by name, I don't even have to tell them who I am for appts or picking up scripts anymore.

I'm the same. I don't think your fingers are that fat I just think you have rebellious fingers that delight in frustrating you further!
I swear fibro makes us dyslexic and dyscalulic.
I think my hands go into autopilot and my brain phases out for a bit and my fingers just end up typing what it thinks it's supposed to type, based on the first letter(s)... that's what I've found anyways. It's a bit like predictive typing on the mobile texting thing - my fingers assumes it knows what words I want, but if it picks the wrong ones then it just ends up being gobbledegook! I also seem to not type the first letter of a word if the last letter of the word before is the same letter... IYKWIM

i do exactly the same with the last letter thing and i join the 2 words together as well. I also seem to type the middle letters in the wrong order as if my right hand goes too quickly for the left and i know i have discalculia so dont ask me type numbers too :rotfl:

right i really must go and find my bed or else i wont move tomorrow at all

Good night anyone still up at this late hour xxx

Woooooo :T check you out!! :D Well in dude!
I'm a bit worried that I won't be able to rely on tramadol tomorrow though cos I'm not convinced I should drive while I'm so spacey because of them... so maybe I'll try one of those 4head things.. and hope it does something... I'm expecting the syptoms and pain to get progressively worse while I wean down for (still!) another week :o

My words get joined together too...I wasn't sure if it was my space bar or my lazy thumb or what... so I'm glad you do it too! I know exactly what you mean about one hand going faster than the other too :)
I see numbers or words and refer to them when I'm talking to someone and say the completely wrong words - it's so annoying!!

    Ah well...

Good night to all those who are still awake... so that'll be me then!! And maybe Cwta or Unity ;)

I'm still up, too much pain all day today & tonight, I shall try to get some sleep in a minute.
  • I found out quite by accident when I had a cold a few years ago that if you mix Lemsip with tramadol and then have a small glass of wine, that your eyes roll in opposite directions and you feel no pain!!!! Not that I could possibly recommend this of course :D

    ____________________________________________

Having woken after a really restless night, this really made me laugh. I overdid the walking yesterday and now my knees are throbbing nicely.

Got out of bed this morning, picked up some used tissues off the floor next to my side of the bed(aren't runny noses lovely?) and went and flushed them down the loo.

Later on, looked for the pair of black socks that I had taken off during the night because I was feeling too hot and could only find one. I thought about it and then reality dawned.

I must have thown it into the loo with the used tissues, in the dark and have flushed it down.

Confessed to OH that if the loo gets blocked, I may have something to do with it.:rotfl:

Ah well, there are a few single black socks in the sock drawer. Wonder what happened to their missing pairs???

    Have a good day everyone.:hello:

ds1 got guitar hero world tour bundle yesterday [i know ... i know ... i dont know how to say no!! :o and i have to do something fun with all the amazon vouchers from surveys] - anyways i have just had a go on the drum kit :D woo what fun but guess whos arms are going to be feeling like she needs to cut them off later :rotfl: [shhh was worth it though]

someone at work swears by those 4head things, i keep saying im going to try one to ward off a really bad head before it hits. The spaced out feeling is why i stop every strong pinkiller and sedative iv been given :( i just couldnt drive and i need that desperately to get to work and to stop me feeling caged in the house, its a vicious circle that if im not in pain because of the meds, i cant do anything as im a zombie, if i dont take them and can drive but i have to have the pain whilst doing things? ahh well its all sent to try us :A

have a nice day everyone,i hope the ones that were up late get some sleep today ;)
i have presents to wrap as its ds2 11th birthday tomorrow - where did my babies go???
