Lol, spose it beats the nagging from MIL2B ;) Although I think her house would be more comfortable other than that! And I get my lil pups to snuggle up with me too (even though they're not allowed on the furniture :shhh:)

I had my oldest sister and my 11yr old nephew come over today and pack up my kitchen for me :D :T I'm very glad cos the kitchen's are always really deceptive with how much is in there, aren't they? It's the room I dread too, I hate packing them up and I hate unpacking them (although less so). I'm very happy that it's done and I don't have to stress about it any more, as I'm kind of trying to confine myself to bedrest (or at least couchrest ;)). Only a gazillion more things to pack  But only 6 days to go for the new house!! :j

Sorry you're feeling a bit naff with the sleep and all Trialia. I hope S/e gets back online again soon, getting a bit worried about her... :o

    Rest easy guys :)

  • BZ, totally agree with packing up the kitchen. Room from hell. Just keep thinking about how many cats you will be able to swing in your lovely new, cozy warm house.

I must admit I've some concerns about s/e too. I may be wrong, but I get the feeling she may also be withdrawing into herself a little bit, too. I think of her often.

I hope s/e is ok too :( does anyone have an email to drop her a note??

bz i have only moved house once years ago before thomas was born and when i look around now and think of all we would have to pack i couldnt even think about it! we were going to look for a bigger house a couple of years ago and had an extension instead thank goodness!! the kitchen is the worst room to pack up so at least you dont have that to worry about now, the other bad thing for me would be my books :o

we are watching space chimps at the moment and im trying to decide if i want a cup of coffee enough to actually get off the sofa  i must train the kids to make me one

  • :D raeh, s/e and I have been emailing. She sent me a note about 10 days ago that she was having connection problems and that her son was going to look into it, but that he was very busy and that it might take some time.

I last sent her an email a couple of days ago, but I'll send another one and stress that we're a little concerned about her. It may, of course, just be as simple as network probems.

:coffee: There ya go. Hope there's not too much sugar :D

See now that's not really the thing you wanna hear, from DH is it? Lol. I already am the size of a house, so I wouldn't worry too much Raeh, you'll have some company ;)

Fancy making me some tea, Cwta? And no, I don't mean to drink! Bleurgh!

I do have a habit of storing things in boxes, Raeh, so that moving in the future isn't quite so hellious. Of course there's not much you can do about a kitchen though...so yes, I huge weight has been lifted! Phewf!

OH's at work again now, at his second job, so when he comes back I think we might snuggle up on the couch and watch a DVD. Get back to the reason we're doing all this in the first place!

(And yes, Cwta, there will be much room for cat swinging! Yay! :j(But I wouldn't wanna get reported to the RSPCA, would I? ;))

  • Morning peeps.
I must do some organising today and I really don't feel like it. I cancelled cleaner yesterday, coz I just wanted some peace and quiet, so it's down to me a bit this week.
However, I'm sure I could find a book to read if I tried really hard.

Nope, must get on or Sundays get me down so it's best to stay occupied.

Hope you're all doing OK. Rest today sharon OK??
Have sent an email to s/e and told her you all send your love and are thinking of her.

sharon as auntie axe said i hope you are resting today ;) and i hope you are feeling a little better :)

is everyone having a nice restful sunday?? i dont have to cook today as my dad and stepmum have invited us over for dinner seeing as dh is away :D as i didnt have to start preparing veg early on, i felt full of energy today so iv made cherry shortbread and wagon wheels, also done all the ironing and now im resting with a cup of coffee and warm biscuit  i think the burst of energy has gone completely now but im sure i wont need any to eat later [especially as i wont even have to wash up]
