dh is off skiing  has a couple of hols each year with the boys *sobs* we used to go every year but sadly i have enough trouble walking down the hill never mind strapping skiis to myself now

Well. How very rude of them! Are you going to be all on your own then?
Thinking of throwing a Fibromates party? ;)

Of course I'm excited about your wedding BZ. And I'm normally a grumpy cynical old person too :D

Sorry, I know you have something on repeat that you normally see doc for, and thought it was antiflybotics.
Get yourself all tucked up cozy and watch some mind numbingly boring daytime TV.

I'm sat here feeling guilty whilst trying to think up an excuse why I can't take my Dad out for lunch tomorrow. Once this week was quite enough, thank you
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

  • On second thoughts, I'm gonna take a book, a cup of tea and a packet of biscuits to have in the bath.
It's a balanced diet if I hold biccies in one hand and tea int'other, right?

BZ I hope you're starting to feel better. You don't need that on top of all the arrangements with the house move and the wedding.

Someone (was it Raeh?) said I should have bumped off the ex. I would have, 'cept they'd have locked me up!

I've bookmarked those two "change of address" URLs. Might be useful if we ever decide to move (perish the thought - I like our little bungalow).

aww bz i hope the antibeoptics kick in quickly :( iv always suffered tonsilitus every time i get ill  and left it too late once [kept saying il be fine ;) ] and my throat almost closed completely  i was really ill, im always ok after about 2 days meds though.
Ta. :o I know what you mean. When I got ill (the start of the downhill decline that resulted in the ME/fibro dx) it was a 4 month bout of tonsilitis... GRIM. The time before that was only about 3 months previous and my tonsils were so bad that it was making me sick rather than being able to swallow. The GP wanted me to go into hospital on a drip cos I was so dehydrated... it took a lot of fast talking to get me out of that one!

get that dress ordered..... im sure its THE one ;) you know my sister never wears anythin g other than jeans and trainers or joggers, in fact i dont think iv ever seen her in a frock :rotfl: but she loved wearing her dress despite complaining for weeks before hand she didnt do dresses ....remind you of anyone? :A
Lol, so long as out of the two of us you're the one that's sure it's "THE one", then what could go wrong? ;)
And I don't know what you're trying to imply...
The other problem is, and I know to some it might sound daft, that I'm worried about the money it'd cost. I just don't know if I can justify spending £750 on a dress I'll wear for a day, you know? O' course, if my ma stumps up the cash then my moral dilemna would disappear in a puff of smoke :p
If any of you are closet surfaholics, or even shoe shopaholics, you could keep your eyes peeled for some ivory/white satin wedges - pref around 1"..? I'd be forever grateful as I've been looking for about a year now, to no avail!

Auntie Axe I think it was Sharon or Suep who had the the antirobotics on repeat...?
Consider the brain-numbing daytime tv checked off the list. Complete with couch time and wrapped up in a quilt :) Hopefully OH will be home soon to tend to me too... :) He's been working both jobs for the last two days so it'll be nice to have him for the evening.
Why are you feeling guilty? I thought that word was banned for a start! :naughty: Can't you just say that Monday's activities have worn you out and you'll catch up with him next week?

Thanks LW. I hope your increased activity on here means you're starting to perk up a bit too...?

I've got the tabs open with those house moving URLs but still can't be @rsed to do anything with them...am I a bad girl? :o Is there a certain amount of notice I'm supposed to give the utilities companies or is it just money robbing shysters like Virgin?

  • Think that as long as you tell them final meter reading, you can do it anytime BZ.
Is it time to perhaps start thinking of having your tonsils out Little Ms Zippy? Short term pain for long term gain n all that jazz?

Well done on the cleaner raeh. I have to stay away from Grabbits as I keep finding things I don't need iykwim.

For those who are interested, the Lush Grabbit bags are back from 26th. Woo Hoo - only just finishes the stuff I got from the 2 last year!

Auntie Axe  How dare you say such a thing!! ;) The ENT guy did want me to have em out, before I got the ME etc dx, but as they couldn't actually say that I would be any better without them, and cos the op is rather horrid above childhood age (and my close to phobic fear of ops) I bowed out. When they were offering me the op I was single too, and with no family within 45miles, and only seemed to have some rapidly deserting friends, so I knew I'd really struggle with the recovery period... :o It's certainly not something I'd want to take on before the wedding, and tbh I don't see it happening at all unless I have a ridiculous regularity of tonsilitis over a short(ish) period of time, iykwim?

Is Lush a brand name?

I can't remember anything about swapping the council tax (paid up til April) to the new house or anything. It's like my brain's completely forgotten about all the moving processes I've been through!

    These is lovely.

Sorry, BZ, didn't realise you were phobic re ops, and I certainly wouldn't suggest it before wedding etc.

I cannot believe you've never heard of Lush - their stuff is fandabedozey!
