Oh, I should have added - the mobility component of DLA is for the higher cost of getting around. You don't have to use it on buying a car - you can use it to pay taxi fares instead if you're not fit enough to drive. Or you can use it for pretty much anything else - save up for a holiday of a life-time. But you can't have it both ways - if you don't use it for the cost of purchasing and running a car, you can't expect 'the government' to provide you with one anyway. Sorry, that sounds a bit blunt, but you'd be surprised the number of people who claim DLA, use it for everything but the purpose it's intended for then expect Social Services to provide for the their care and mobility needs.

lol how has this thread ventured into the down below hair area! i was going to attempt to catch up on posts but i was at a party last night and im all useless! had the misfortune to have a very sleazy guy take a right shine to me, i always attract the weirdos! anyway just wanted to wish everyone well and let you know im still alive and i hope you all have a lovely christmas:santa2:

Don't worry Roxsi, you're not the only one that happens to. Not always at parties, sometimes when I was travelling on the bus as well. I've found the cure to that is not go to parties and don't get on the bus.

Errrr, pot, kettle and black come to mind s/e!

I've been such a good girlie today and got loads done. Haven't even overdone it really.I feel everything is much more under control and it's a nice feeling.
