Glad you're feeling good about it though. I did a very minor clear up of the front room tonight and it's a wonder the difference it makes, innit?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
 i come in one day and read about knitting, I come in the next and the conversation drifts to lady gardens :rotfl: lifes never boring on here eh??
we have been out to ikea today to get ds1's new furniture, our bedroom and his have had the ceilings lowered to make more head height up in the loft/playroom [28' by 16' id have it for my bedroom if i didnt have to negotiate the ladder lol] so both have been plastered and dh has been painting all afternoon. My job tomorrow is all the flat pack furniture ... i get a strange satisfaction from setting out all the pieces
i still have to find the time to wrap a few more presents without any eyes watching me which seems to be an impossibility!! and then i need to deliver sets of presents to my dads house, mums and my sisters. But i do promise BZ and Auntie Axe iv been pacing myselfi do have a bad head coming on though and i think thats because i havent drunk much today
Who mentioned bossyness?? I always tell them at work im not bossy, i just have an assertive nature  im only 5' i need to be assertive for them to take notice of me lol
is everyone feeling christmassy yet? i still dont feel like its christmas this weeki think its because of all the diy we have been doing, the house is all decorated its just that its arrived quicker than i wanted lol. The boys were arguing earlier as ds1 said he wasnt getting out of bed early and ds2 is panicking that he may have to wait to open anything :rotfl: im sure being a laid back teen will go out of the window on the actual day and they will both be up early. ds1 thinks he isnt getting anything much at xmas as he asked for an lcd tv for his xbox and i said we might look in the sales as he had all new furniture and we got him a double bed so hes had loads spent on him anyway! BUT we have one hidden in the garage and will be sneaking it into his room after he has got up
this is why i need to still keep working to pay for things
ok i think iv made up for all the times i havent felt like posting recently
have a good night everyone and i hope the start to christmas week isnt as wet as it has been today2009-£7500 2010 £10800 2011 £2000
Thank you to everyone who posts comps xxx0 -

I'm not feeling very Christmassy yet either, no. I've got my presents all wrapped (just got to get a couple of extra bits for OH) and put the tree up at OH's with MIL2B the other night...but it's still not feeling Christmassy yet..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
LilacLillie wrote: »Went to see my regular Dr last night and told her how I was treated by the locum.
She looked quite shocked.
Anyhow, the outcome being she is now refering me to various 'specialists' starting in the new year, so maybe I can get to the bottom of it all at last.
I did ask about a 'General Physican' (as someone had kindly mentioned), but she said they no longer have them in the NHS, only specialists in their own fields.
I told her I am soo fed up of having to be at the Dr's almost weekly and being fobbed off as a nutter.
I wouldn't be putting myself through the hard work of making appointment (blinking receptionists) getting there, then being treated like an idiot, if I was feeling well.
Somethings not right, but what?
Lets hope time will tell??
Thanks for support and advice

You don't want to go and ruin your holiday, 'cos you're too knackered to enjoy it, do you?
It's a fact of life for us that while other people go on holiday for a rest and a change of scene and come back feeling refreshed, we have to rest before we go on holiday and then come back totally knackered and in need of a rest to get over the travelling and the change in routine and all the extras we force ourselves to do 'cos we're on holiday'.
Or is that just me?s/e0
