Okay, this is the cardigan that I ruined earlier this year, and which the lilac one is a replacement for.

Beautiful colours. I can see why you mourn the loss of the lilac one.
Have decided will do a couple of hours chores tomorrow and then get up mega early on Monday and finish off.
Have to be up at 6am  on Tuesday to get everything sorted and am booked in for a 9.30am flight.
Will also get up reasonably early when away as I won't want to waste the days in bed.
Have just eaten 2 mini chocolate rolls and feel all sickly now :rolleyes:I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
Hey guys. I'm back home again... I made sure I had another lie in this morning and sent OH to do food shopping with MIL2B
Heel is much better so (don't shout Auntie Axe) I haven't been to see a doc. I did ring MIL2B's friend and next door neighbour, who is a nurse, just to check it over and see if I need to go get it looked at - but unfortunately she wasn't in. I've checked it today though and it's not bled since last night and I've been able to put more weight on it today, the skin flap looks happy where it is, so unless it gets any worse I think I'll leave it be. (I did First Aid, so that's my excuse)
I'm still really tired today, so I'll go put the heating on shortly and veg out on the couch for the night methinks. Well overdid it doing all MIL2Bs bidding last night *sigh*
Hope you're all well. Sorry to hear you've been suffering S/e, but glad you're well enough to be back among us again"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

About your heel - have you got any superglue (or nail glue come to that, it's what I use). If you'd gone to A&E or the surgery yesterday, all they'd have probably done would be to glue the flap of skin back into place. [Trust me, I know of which I whitter - I cut my hand trying to catch a glass earlier in the year, and this is how they 'repaired' it.] If you've got any superglue in the house, just put a thin coating over the damaged part (making sure you give it enough time to set before putting anything on it or foot on floor) and it'll probably heal over in a couple of days.s/e0 -
Ta s/e, I do have both...I think!...somewhere  however, I don't really wanna start mauling with it now and I don't actually think I could peel it back out of the wound to stick it back in...iyswim? I think the fact it bled is a good thing cos the platelets should've stuck it back there...?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0

Don't worry about re-positioning the flap of skin - just coat the entire wound with superglue. Then let the glue dry. I'd hate for you to have to call the emergency services for them to come and unstick you from the carpet - then have to explain how you came to be stuck there in the first place.s/e0

My Dad always swore that the only way to keep us kids under control was to nail one foot to the floor *grin*.
Superglue is wonder stuff for wounds. Make sure you keep an eye on it though to make sure it doesn't get infected. Salt water is wonders for that sortta thing.
The last couple of nights I've been taking Ami. Partly for these dratted headaches and also so I get some decent sleep. Now, I'm aware that I am peri-menopausal (don't laugh bz, your time will come), and I've been getting hot flushes - going pillar box red, sweat breaking out on face etc. Anyone had this with ami, or am I truly at the shrivelled stage?I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
p.s. BZ, do you have Reynaulds in your feet? If you do, you really must take medical advice due to the reduced blood flow.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0

I do find that they're worse if I let myself get cold - if I can stay at a stable temperature I'm less likely to get them.s/e0
