does anyone know how to delete a message ?

Is there an 'edit' button under the post? If there is, click on it and it'll take you to another page/bring up your post again in a reply box. At the bottom of that box there should be a delete button.

I think sometime there are glitches in the forum and threads over 1,000 post count slow the site down, so does someone want to do the honours and start a new thread as Part II?

Grrr, got a fre £15 ITunes gift card and bought a load of toons for I could throw some shapes  and can't find my transfer cable. It's the one cable I normally never lose.
See! No good comes of tidying up!

Woop Woop Unity! :j I'm made up for you. :T

I'm back from school with the kids, have put good ol' pasta bake in the oven for us and eagerly anticipate eating it! Unfortunately my grand master plan failed me, as I appear to have left the Kung Fu Panda dvd at home :( I wouldn't mind quite so much, but I'd already mentioned it to the kids before I'd realised I've not got it here...so the kids are now somewhat disappointed :o ...I can't take any more Horrid Henry! We've settled on Garfield 2... I think.

I was gonna go through and reply to stuff, but tbh I can't be @rsed! I think everyone answered the motability question for me anyways ;)

  • Good news Unity, it must have been really stressful for you awaiting the results.

I am a bit stressed today, not been on in a while, having sleep issues, pain and probs with ds school and my work! oh woe is me! Had first ever palpitations last night and scared the life out of me? Does anyone else get these I have put them down to stress, but have awful upper abdo pain today, so might have my ibs kicking in too, life is great:( not!
Gosh I am only ever moaning on here, and asking about symptoms - sorry! I work as a dental nurse advisor for nhs direct - 21 hours a week so work some strange hours( fri I'm doing a 17.30 - 02.00 shift, so you can imagine how long it takes me to recover) but I enjoy it most of the time and sitting down alows me to carry on working otherwise I would be sitting at home - which I did previously and didnt enjoy it!
    Right moan over
    thanks for listening everyone

yellowrock - don't worry about it, we all have our vents :)
I get them sometimes too. Mentioned it to GP and he was completely unphased. It only happens every so often  I kind of figured that as my muscles of into spasm for no good reason, then as the heart is another muscle...maybe I shouldn't be too surprised...?

I think the Mobility car scheme is brilliant. BTW, do you get the tax disc paid for?
im feeling ok thank you, my shoulder is still stiff and i have the most spectacular purple bruises in a few odd places [but from such a slight bump im sure i shouldnt have any!!!] but im fine :)
with the motability car i get the tax and insurance paid so for me its the best option with the money, i know i might not aways be entitled to it but im happy to have a new car whilst i can [and im always very truthful on my application which i think is why i never get any care even though i do need some help]

yellowrock its a vicious circle isnt it? the pain so the lack of sleep from it, the exhaustion from that and then yet more pain :( i have had palpitations a few times and usually when not really doing much at all. I keep myself working, even not taking time off sick like i could have done this week as thats what keeps me going? i seem to feel worse when im at home like in the holidays as io can sit and think about what hurts and i tend to sleep more in the day then too and not so well at night?

    bigzippy enjoy garfield 2 ;)

just remembered i meant to start a new thread

Feel free to moan, it helps to get it out and it gives our families and friends a break too.

I get palpitations whenever I have serious sleep problems, you should still mention it to your GP just in case.
