Sorry for still not feeling 100% better yet.

Great idea on eating more fruit and veg and looking after yourself. i wish i could be more like that, i hardly eat any fruit at all. But do take those vitamin C fizzy tablets, lol im such a big kid!

Well done on your bingo wins!

Its fantastic how much of the loan you have paid off already and even better the amount of interest you've knocked off it! :T:T:T

Your loan total is amazing, well done. I hope everyone else is helping you as well though.

Sorry you're not feeling well the vitamins are a great idea, I think I need some.

I make a wicked vege bean chilli. I'm sure you would know this being a veggie (I'm not) but I bung, kidney, aduki, haricot, borlotti or whatever beans I have in the cupboard together, mix with chilli, cumin, tomato puree, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms, coriander and cook down with some water as a stock. Serve with rice. I always make enough for about five portions with three different tins though so it's a great one to freeze and reheat. I have mine mild but you can adapt to what suits.

    Thanks you two :).

As things stand at the moment I'm only obliged to put £200 towards the loan each month which is basically just rent, then my OH gives me £100 as a kind of rent which also goes on it. His parents get another £100 as technically he lives there but spends 9/10 nights at mine as I car share with a friend a few streets away, so I can't really stay at his as easily as he can be at mine. I am putting more towards it, but that's because the long and short of things is that I basically have no choice but to go on my dads mortgage in 6 months (provided they actually let me), and to be honest I don't really want to because I have a horrible feeling that once I'm on it I'll never get off of it. It's that or lose the house, and without being able to live at home I'm paid so little I know I'd never be able to save anything, so losing it wouldn't really benefit me either. On his current income multiple he basically needs to pay 20k off before my name can be taken off of the mortgage, either that or he needs to get some serious overtime like he used to (not that it is really there to be had anymore). So, if I can pay that all off somehow I'm free, and I know that he will make sure I get my money back eventually when he dies/moves, not that I'll need it so much then lol.

The bean thing sounds really nice Yukki, I've made similar things but not exactly like that so I'll give it a go one day :).We've got a lot of recipe books so I'm going to have a look through them over the weekend hopefully.

I'm back from work, it took me ages to get to sleep last night so I was so tired this morning. Usually when I wake up that's it, I'm awake, but today I'm sure I'd have gone back to sleep if I didn't have to get up. Anyway, work is over now and I'm off tomorrow (yay). I'm still not completely better, I wouldn't say I'm congested in the usual sense, but my throat has been a bit gross today which has been making my voice go funny. Hopefully I will be fully normal in a day or two, I don't want to spend all of my time off ill!

I've found a container for the £365 challenge, conveniently my little sister finished a pot of ice cream last night so I'm using that. It's mostly see through, so I'm planning to find some spray paint (I'm sure there will be some around the house somewhere) to cover it in. I think I'll stand a better chance if I can't see what's in it, plus with the extra £'s I'm going to put in there when I have them it will be a nice surprise when I open it.

I'm planning to make lots of food tomorrow, I'm going for leek & potato soup, broccoli & brie soup, and veggie bolognaise which I always get at least four meals out of. I think I'm also going to make a shepherds pie for everyone else as I'm defrosting a big block of mince tonight.

Yay for finding a container, yeah jazz it up a bit so you cant see in it, then you wont be tempted to dip into it if your short of change or anything! :D

Blimey you will be busy tomorrow with your cooking, all sounds lovely.

Hope you feel better soon. You probably just need some well deserved rest.

The post sounds great, I think spraying it will keep you more motivated as well as you won't know how much there is.

Thanks you two. I had £4 in coins in my purse so I've put that into the pot and marked off my diary til the 4th. I've been told that apparently sea kelp makes your hair grow faster so i'm going to get some of that when I'm in town as I has loads of my hair cut off in summer and I miss having long hair now. It isn't exactly short but I still want it longer.

Am off to see the christmas panto soon. Tickets were £17 and to be honest I'm not exactly sure whaty I agreed to go lol.

My friends mum is a hairdresser and she swears by rubbing coconut balm/wax into your scalp to make it grow quicker too. I cant imagine sea kelp smelling too nice, just by the name of it.

Have a good night at the panto :D

You take the kelp in tablets, but they're supposed to be horrible if you get the taste of one. It will be worth it if they work though.

I've just been busy sorting things out so I'm £31 lighter I've booked my MOT for Weds at 11.30 - am praying it passes. I've also sorted out my car insurance which was £215 + £25 legal cover. I usually cut corners where I can, but I think having legal cover is worth it in case the worst does happen. I've also had to send £180 to my dads account as the first official loan payment goes on the 6th and they are taking £300 for the first one (it's higher than usual, it will only be £180 in total normally). I've only got a bit under £300 left to my name now, I feel very poor... I also owe OH £37...geh.

On the brighter side though I've ordered a £10 amazon voucher from consumer pulse, I've bagged up £17 of change ready to be paid in to my account, and I've added another £3 to my £1 a day pot.
