I can see what you mean Stacy, if I was in your situation I think I'd rather be at home to save/pay off more debt too.
I haven't written in here for a couple of weeks. It's OH's birthday tomorrow so that's one less thing I have to spend on. This month I've had lots of birthdays so its been really expensive.
I've paid another £300 off of the loan, it came out of the account today so I've taken £300 off of my sig, but I'll be saving slightly more due to the interest as it's an overpayment. I'll update it when it has calculated the actual amount left.
The jewellery selling has been going well, I'm up to 13 sales on folksy now and have opened a second shop yesterday to get rid of the plastic bits I have left. I haven't sold much recently but it's my own fault because I haven't really been listing lately. I need to get on that...
I managed to redeem a $50 cheque from global test market finally today, I've checked and it converts to about £35 now which is great as it's a bit more to come off of the loan. I've also got £40 in vouchers I can redeem from consumer pulse. They stopped doing amazon ones which is annoying as I'd almost have enough for the TV if not for that, but I'm thinking about getting argos ones so I can buy house bits for whenever in the distant future I do actually move. I think they're usually valid for a few years, but if not I'll probably get something that isn't electric (don't want it to break in storage) to hoard. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -

I haven't been on here for ages. My computer broke which is incredibly annoying as I've only had it 15 months, and it wasn't exactly cheap. It's an all in one, it turns out that the graphics card died, but it's attached to the motherboard and it doesn't have a name on it to buy a replacement one, so someone is currently taking as much of the working stuff out as he can out of the computer to make a new one. He's putting it all in a tower as he said all in ones are really bad for overheating and dying because everything is crammed into such a small space.
I've also learnt that Philips don't make computers, they give their name to companies who make crap computers using crap parts (hence no name on the motherboard), and people usually end up screwed when they break as it's nearly impossible to repair to them, so that's a warning about them...
Anyway, my old computer had a 22" widescreen and freeview, so it doubled as a tv and a cd player for me, so I'm going out of my mind at the moment! I used my Amazon vouchers to get another 22" TV which I'll be using as a TV come monitor. I'm so grateful I had the vouchers as the TV only cost me £27, it would have been really tight money wise without them. I've been told the computer will be about £150-£200 for the tower as a friend of a friend is doing it for me, so although I'm still annoyed it could have been a lot worse. I did love my all in one though.
Because I haven't had a computer (using OH's work laptop at the moment) my shop views have plummeted so I'll have to really work at that when I get the new one as not listing anything = no sales. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
