well done. I think you may have stumbled on something on Folksy so hope it continues for you. Are you selling to folksy members or public?

A bit of both so far. I've been browsing other jewellery shops and found one that sells similar things to me and has sold 150 items which is pretty good for a site that isn't very well known. I don't know if they've been promoting outside of the site or not though. I'm quite encouraged in so much as I was planning to list a few items every night but I didn't even have time to do that yesterday so my things wouldn't have been very high in the search results.

I'm hungry, should probably get breakfast instead of writing this...

Anyway, I had a really nice day yesterday. I washed my car and cleaned the inside, planted some veg up (hoping to do more today), did a lot of washing, made some really nice stuffed mushrooms for dinner, and helped my sister to make some oven gloves.

We're going to have a BBQ later today as the weather is still nice which I'm looking forward to. I've also set up a folksy thread on here, and a handmade group on facebook so I'm recruiting for that at the moment... I might also try and get some jewellery making in if there's time.

Haven't written in here recently but not a lot to report. I'm now officially on a diet because my clothes are getting a bit tight. I finally realised that when I couldn't fit into my favourite jeans it was serious lol.

I've listed a couple of things on ebay, they're new Aveda products with RRP's of £32 & £16 so hopefully will make a bit to take off of the loan there. I have another couple of the £32 RRP ones to list, but I'm going to list them after or make second chance offers if I get a decent auction selling price. I've also sold another necklace on folksy,*yay* :).

Thanks Yukki.I'm considering listing some of my old 'plastic' style jewellery as I stopped making it quite abruptly when I quit ebay and have loads and loads of supplies left. That way at least I can hopefully sell it all and move on, though I think it will spoil the look of my shop so I'm not sure. I don't really want to open another shop because the more traffic I can get to one place the better.

I won £10 yesterday and £10 today from playing my free spin money from the jackpot joy free game. That will come off of the loan when it hits my bank account along with another £200 I took off today.

I paid off my CC bill yesterday and my car tax. I was convinced it should be £90 but when I got the renewal form through it said £120. Anyhoo, when I went online to pay for it it came up as £90 so the price must have changed since the letter was printed which made me rather happy as it's the least I've ever paid for a years tax.

I've spent a good chunk of my day making new jewellery so I'm going to list some of that now :).

My day got off to a good start as I've made another Folksy sale, but we were going to go to the pub for lunch to sit in the sun, but now it's raining :(. I think I'm going to keep my jewellery money in my account untouched til I have enough to pay my remaining overdraft off :).

I've been sooo bored at work today. I've had enough of my job, it's dull and I'm doing the same thing all day every day. It isn't very mentally challenging which I find really hard, so I'm going to tell my team leader and hope that based on the amount of work I do they'll move me to something a bit more demanding rather than have me leave, though they may just let me do that lol.

Money wise things are going well. My two ebay items end tomorrow night and are up to £18. I should probably get on ebay a bit more. Not so much for the jewellery, but there is loads of stuff in this house that we don't need and could go towards paying off the loan. I've sold another couple of items on folksy which have made me another £20 or so which is good too as I have £100 in my jewellery account out of which come all of my fees and other costs.

Ooh, I've just noticed I'm almost half way to paying the loan off. Yay :D.
