My sister has finally made it to dying my hair, I'm sooo bored, I really want it to be over. We started at 1.05 and we're still dying it. The last lot has to be on til 3.55 then I can finally have a shower. Why is there never anything to do on a Sunday? I used to hate them when I was younger and I still do, at least the shops can open now though.

The overpayment I made on the loan last week was taken on Monday, and the figures have updated today. As things stand, if we were to make the minimum payment every month we'd have £9,652 to pay off (yay, under 10k). If we were to have all of the money to pay off now though, we'd only have to pay back 7.5k, so as it stands those are the highest and lowest figures we'll have to pay off. My guess is that It will be slightly over 8k by the time it's all paid back. The monthly payments are now £166 rather than the £239 they started at which is great. It would be great to have the whole thing paid back in a year (it was taken out on 17/11/09), I think that's probably a bit adventurous, but I don't think it will take much over a year now especially if I can get the jewellery selling up and running properly.

Speaking of jewellery my business cards were ordered yesterday (£25 for 1000 inc p&p). I think the 1st is going to be the official opening date, though I'll probably put everything on Etsy on the Sunday purely because I won't be at work then. I'm debating uploading everything in batches of 20's and seeing how that works because I need to constantly be listing things to get traffic to etsy.

Oh, and at work one of the managers asked me if I'd like to be a stand in team leader at some point in the future so I figure that can only be good, plus it's something for my CV.

Well done, that's brilliant figures on that loan. The jewellery is exciting, I love your stuff.

Thanks Yukki. My business cards have arrived now which is great. They got here yesterday, I can't believe how quick they were. I paid for the slowest postal service which is supposed to be up to 21 days, but they were ordered Tuesday evening and sent on Thursday (from abroad too). I'm very impressed. Anyway, that and the fact that I've actually bought some decent functioning ring boxes means everything is now prettymuch in place for me to open on the 1st. I'm still waiting for some supplies from China, but they still haven't been posted because of their new year. I did get some lovely cabs yesterday though, they're really nice.

I've been spending terribly lately, well, since Friday really. We went to Nandos for a work friends leaving meal which was £8, followed by the pub where I spent another £8 on drinks. On Saturday I spent £10 on fabric so I can play with my sewing machine, £5 in poundland, £5 in superdrug and another £5 in Sainsbury's. To top that off I spent another £4.50 in Accessorize, and £15 in Wilkinsons on puppy bits and seeds earlier today. The good news though is that I won't need to buy any more seeds, and I got some Nicola potatoes which always excites me slightly as I'm a bit sad - My name is Nichola for anyone who doesn't understand that...

We went to visit the puppies last night, we thought we were getting Ollie at the end of March, but it turns out my dad got the wrong end of the stickso we're getting him on Friday now. I can't wait, though we do need to puppy proof the house pretty quickly now.

I've had quite a good day today.

Last night OH came over with a scratch card for each of us. We both won £5, and I had £1 win on another card he's also bought me, so today I traded them in for another six cards...and won £20, yay :).

We also had our one to ones with our team leader today. She said that they're considering giving me another pay rise which would be great as I only got one about 2 months ago. I'm already technically on the most a temp can get, but she said they're considering giving me more, and I'd be the only one on above that rate! Also, I'm deputising for her when she's away/busy now, so that's something for my CV AND she asked me about how I'd feel moving to long services in time (which is the next step up from the job I currently do), so work is going very well at the moment.

Ollie is being collected at 3pm tomorrow so I can't wait for that, and I'll be knocking some more offof the loan or an overdraft, I'm not sure which one yet though.

I've just been paid £20 from quidco for a transaction in August 2008! I never thought I'd get it, but it will pay my mobile bill so it has made pretty good timing lol. I've reduced my Natwest overdraft by £200 to £300, and I'm just adding bits to the website tonight to get it ready for being up and running tomorrow :).

He's doing well thanks, my dad taught him to sit in about 10 minutes on Saturday night so he seems to be quite a quick learner. It's quite funny because now he keeps sitting even when we don't tell him to and expecting a treat! The crying was worst on the first night, he's still doing it but now he tends to settle down after half an hour or so and will go to sleep. I haven't been sleeping brilliantly lately but to be honest it's more me than him. I'll take a photo and put it up soon, he's so lovely. His head is so tiny it fits in my hands, I can't get over that bit lol.

I've gone mad and opened a big cartel shop last night. I was planning to wait at least a few months, but I decided I wanted a shop with prices in sterling too. I've added 9 items to it last night, but to be honest I'd forgotten how long it takes to do these things. I've decided to try and add 9/10 to etsy & the website per night, then I should hopefully be able to keep my etsy hits up and do it bits because to be honest being at work all day I just don't have the time. Also, I thnk all of the colours of the items on the big cartel site are a bit in your face at the moment and don't look 'right' together, so I'm trying to figure out a way to make it look better. That will probably be either re-arranging the pictures or something like that. To be honest I'm not entirely sure though. If I really don't like it I might just sell the brighter looking things on etsy to get around it that way.
