it all sounds exciting if hard work. You'll get there. I have turned direction slightly with my jewellery and am making kits now. Have had loads of good feedback with my first one so am making some different bits and seeing how it goes.0

That's great Yukki, good luck with it
. After at least starting to launch yesterday I've already sold a necklace, so at least things are looking positive.

That's brilliant Yukki! I've sold some earrings today so I could be on to a good thing! I kind of feel like if I can push this hard enough it will really come together. It's great because I need something to motivate me which my day job really doesn't do.
To be honest the way everything has been at work lately I'm half tempted to apply for the graduate scheme, I'm inspired but also deterred by the fact that all of the directors are men, and they always seem to employ men for the graduate roles. If I've proved myself to such an extent that they're considering giving me a higher pay rate which is unprecedented for people on temp contracts it kind of pushes me along. My productivity is really high as they know, and I've worked for the business on and off since 2005 which should count for something (though I'm not convinced it necessarily does). I did actually look at it when I graduated, but it said they were after people who had graduated in engineering or business which was the thing that put me off most. I've spoken to one of the graduates who did marine biology or something along those lines, so I guess it can't be set in stone. I have A's in most things and I got a first for my degree so I might be able to fallback on grades at the worst.
I've spent just under £30 today on clothes BUT it was in the most MSE way possible. One of my friends at works mums works in peacocks and gets 40% off vouchers for a friends and family event thing they do, so I got myself a suit (skirt & jacket) for less than £20! I know it's not going to be the best one ever, but it looks fine to me and is okay for what I need. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
You have some lovely items in your Etsy shop Nichelette, I especially like the rocking horse earrings. I got 2 sales my first day on there, but have had a week of nothing since thenDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Thanks Dinah. The key to selling on Etsy is to list regularly, I have loads more I need to list but for one reason or another I've struggled to do so this week. I managed over 150 sales in my first Etsy shop so it is possible to sell a decent amount on there
.

Thanks
. I've knocked another £164 off of the loan today too. When I get paid on Friday I'll probably take off another couple of hundred.
I was naughty last night and spent £6 on zips and another £7 on fabric. I'm making this at the moment from the pattern I bought a bit ago: http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m142/False_desire/300.jpg I think it's so cute so I'm really getting in to it now. I can't finish it til my zips arrive but I'm making good progress. I'm thinking of making them for my friends for christmas if I can make them well enough. Anyway, I'm going to run off and make it some more now.
