Thanks you two. I've paid £1400 off of the loan today which will be taken on Thursday, so I'll see what the updated figures are then.

I've sold some more earrings and another bracelet which have made me another £23, so at least the jewellery situation is going well.

I have the doctors tomorrow so fingers crossed he will let me have some muscle relaxants. I really couldn't have cared less about work today, I'm so bored of being there. If I get time I'm going to try and have a quick look for jobs later.

Since my last post I've sold another few bracelets which have made me about £40, I've also won £23 today. I won £5 on a scratchcard but I played the monopoly slots which I got up to £23 on. It was my sisters butlins account but she's letting me pay the money off of the loan which is good.

I've got to leave soon, it's the work christmas party tonight, though I'm not really in the mood for it so I doubt I'll stay long...

Thanks Yukki, I've been having more luck with the jewellery. I've sold three bracelets at £12.50 each plus two at £32! In addition to that I've also won £5 on the jackpot joy free game.

Anyway, this is how the loan stands at the moment:

    Original Total Repayable: £14,384.90
New Total Repayable: £13,907.91 (I've already saved nearly £500 in interest )
    Outstanding: £12,217.91

Saving that much in interest is quite a motivator... I've just paid off another £580 so I'll see what the totals are next week...

It's amazing how the amount of interest bumps up the figures isn't it. Still you keep this up you'll have it paid off in no time.

I should really write in here more... I sold another necklace the other day but I haven't sold anything since then. The interest is crazy Yukki, this is how the loan stands at the moment:

    Original Total Repayable: £14,384.90
    New Total Repayable: £13,745.81
    Outstanding: £11,475.81

I've just paid another £500 off so that will show in the figures next week.

We have loads of snow here at the moment, the roads were really bad so I left for work really early, I was there an hour before I needed to be so they let me out early too. It's supposed to snow more overnight I think. OH is driving to Newcastle tomorrow to watch football but it's 300 miles and I'm not happy with it in this weather, especially as football isn't really essential...

You are doing great with the repayments!

I wouldn't be happy about driving that far in these conditions for football either.

Thanks you two. I won £20 on BB this morning so that will be paid off of the loan when I get it.

OH text me at 4, he left at 12 and still had 200 miles left to go! What's worse, there's supposed to be snow in Newcastle tomorrow so I'm half convinced they're going to call the game off anyway because the pitch will be frozen even if they do manage to clear the snow.

I got a call at 7.30 this morning from my sister who started being sick at 5.30 and still hadn't stopped, she sounded terrible and had a really bad stomach so she couldn't even keep sips of water down. It's bad because she's supposed to be getting the train back tomorrow. If she can't manage it me and my dad will have to go and pick her up tomorrow because his car is being fixed and tomorrow is my last day off of work before christmas and we'll need to take my car. It wouldn't be so bad but she lives 300 miles from here (sadly not in the same direction as OH has gone) so even in good weather the journey is at least 5/6 hours each way.

As usual I haven't written for a week... Christmas was good as in so much as none of my family tried to kill each other (I guess there's a first time for everything), though today is the first day I've been out of bed since boxing day as I've been ill. To be honest I could have done with not going to work but I don't get sick pay so my dad drove me in (my balance/perception has been a bit dodgy so I didn't think it was a good idea driving myself). After lunch I perked up a bit but I'm still not back to normal yet, and the car journey back made me feel really nauseous :(.

I've decided my resolution this year (though I'm hoping it's more of a lifestyle change) is to look after myself more. I'm always stressed and it isn't doing me any good, neither is eating badly. I don't want to lose weight but I would like to be healthier which in turn will hopefully give me more energy. Being ill I thought having some fruit and veg would do me good so I bought a stir fry for dinner which was really nice, along with some orange juice for the vitamin C, and some multi vitamins (3 for 2 in Boots) because at least I'm getting everything I need then, even if it isn't the best way.

I'm planning to do a lot of cooking this weekend so I can freeze it all in batches so I'll be upping my fruit & veg intake that way, and I'll be eating meals which are cheaper and not full of preservatives and rubbish. I'm a vegetarian so I'm going to try and eat more beans too. I like them and they're filling/healthy so it makes sense.

I've joined the £365 in 365 days challenge because I think it will be achievable, though I am toying with £2 as even that shouldn't be too noticable.

Money wise I won £22.50 on BB today which will come off of the loan, I also got a £2 Amazon voucher from GFK. I won £10 on jackpot joy a couple of days ago, and I've done a pinecone survey so with the other £4 I'll be able to withdraw £8 when that hits paypal.

Loan wise this is how things stand currently:

    Original Total Repayable: £14,384.90
    New Total Repayable: £13,602.45
    Outstanding: £10,812.45

So far I've paid off £2,790, reduced the monthly payments from £239 to £180, and saved nearly £800 in interest!
