10_66 - they won't be able to see CHAPS payments because they are manual and consequently could turn up "anytime". BACS they see the day before - all advised by HSBC customer services.0

........I just checked the credit carefully and see that 20 pounds has been deducted from the total! Clearly that was the CHAPS fee! Cheeky sods! Not that I'm bothered now of course, but it proves that the CHAPS system hasn't worked properly; we shall see later if the promise to refund fees/interest happens.0
