Just received from KE in response to my question yesterday:

Thank you for getting back in touch.

We have been advised that withdrawals are now being processed to the normal timescales for BACS (3 - 4 working days) and CHAPS (24 hours dependant upon the time of day transaction requested).

Taking into account that Head Office have other back logs to clear, I may suggest that you add an extra day on to this timeframe.

In addition to this, you can check the Kaupthing Edge website for any further updates on our backlogs and any timescales we have to return to business as usual.

I apologise if this causes you any inconvenience.

If you have any further queries, please contact us on 0845 1 31 32 33. Our opening hours are; 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday, 8am – 2pm Saturday and 10am – 4pm Sundays.

When I tried a few days ago - it seemed to be a day out - if you try it with Oct 24th it may work ok
