No one from ING has mentioned (or is likely to) what the actual hold up is. Likely getting funds in place? I don't know perhaps I am clutching at straws, however if anyone does feel the need to complain (as I am pursuing) you will need to speak to ING initially according to the FSA and follow their complaints procedure. If 2 months later you are not happy with the result you can approach the FSA to complain.

Come on go for it, the more the better. Just because you have now received your cash doesn't mean you can't and shouldn't complain, think of the anguish you went through till it arrived.

Im with Heritable and they keep fobbing me off with excuses, saving they dont know when they will be able to transfer my money to me, they were also taken over by ING........are any other customers having trouble with Heritable?????

I transferred a mere £700 by bacs on 26/9/08, however KE had the wrong sort code for my linked account, this was discovered about 6th October, and I haven't recevied it yet back in my KE account or in my linked account. I did another chaps transfer for over £20K on 13th October, and it left my KE account on 14th and I haven't recevied this either. Very frustrating and annoying, and regardless of guarantees that all is ok, it's human nature to worry, which happens every night at about 2.00 a.m.

Hi, The money I withdrew was from my ING account not from Kaupthing (I had some in both) I am one of th lucky ones who received money last week, but I withdrew all money from ING on Monday it was in my bank yesterday they seem to be treating thier own customers buisness as usual. I shall be staying with British backed banks while the financial situation remains in the mess its in.

still waitinf for a CHAPS payment from 9th oct, received a BACS payment last friday, thankfully, been informed the CHAPS payment should be in my account 24th oct, holding my breath tho,

Does anybody know if the people with the "5% email" should expect to see their money this Friday?? or are they still a separate issue?

I requested a CHAPS payment on 8th, it was withdrawn from my KE account on the 9th and has not been seen by man nor beast since...... and they deducted the £20 CHAPS charge from the remaining money in my account. Thanks to everyone n here who have been passing on information and support, it does help.

Me too, when I get it back! No foreign banks from now on!!!

Saying that, there are few pure BRITISH Banks/Building Societies left, they all have got foreign hands dipped into them!
Sorry, I don't want the spelling police after me, it's stress that is causing all the mistakes!

1. 5% Plus Club: What has happened to this 5% figure? there are many of us who have not received any email or communication from ING, is there anything known about the 5% PLUS as we should maybe call ourselves?

2. BACS withdrawals: I have read on this thread that some have made online BACS withdrawals since 10 Oct AND have already received funds in their linked accounts, I have just made small BACS withdrawals from our 2 accounts and will post if/when the funds arrive in our linked accounts.

Maybe we would already have our xfers of 9 Oct if they had been BACS rather than CHAPS? who knows... maybe one of the chaps could enlighten us.
