There was no intention to annoy anybody - the posts seemed to me to fall into the same category as previous posts re puffins, cakes, birthdays and avatars. In my opinion humoour is a good way of keeping trolls at bay.
I will endeavour not to post anything else lighthearted.
Please, as I have not got any money left, KE and Icesave, please don't try to take away my sense of humour, it's only that and this forum that are keeping me going. A little light relief here and there is welcomed by me at least!
So, Northern star don't stop please.0 -
For what it's worth.... email just received from KE after submitting a query on their website open enquiry form (not from within KE secure accounts pages).

Thank you for your email regarding a withdrawal.
We have been working hard to clear the back log of payments and the vast majority of these have now been made. However, there are a small number of payments which we have been unable to process so far due to administrative issues within Kaupthing Edge.
Kaupthing Edge in the UK is being run by Administrators and we have now received their confirmation that all outstanding payments will be released by Thursday 23 October and we would expect these to start arriving in the destination bank account on Friday 24 October.
Thank you for your patience and we can confirm that customers will not lose interest as a result of this delay.
Your money is safe and secure and our priority remains to restore normal service to all customers.
Yours sincerely

I have responded asking 'if I now make a BACS withdrawal will that go through automatically or also via the Administrators?' I'll post when/if I get clarification.
STILL WAITING for refund of 1x £20 fee plus missing interest on our 2 accounts.0 -

Just a note to the "General Collective" of desperate souls here. Thanks for keeping this thread alive - its my one source of comfort that I am not alone in waiting for my BACS transfer (£19k). I need the money to set up a new business - all plans are opn hold until it arrives.
Its great to kow I am not alone in my desperation. This forum is my only source of news/comfort.
I am desperate for the money to arrive on Friday, but I must admit my expectations of getting it are about 10%, there have been so many empty promises.0 -
Haider - next time you are on line - any chance of an update?

HI, I still have ££ in Kaupthing having managed to get most of it out about 2 weeks ago.
I do want to take it out but only when I know it will arrive, if you know what I mean.
Should I request a transfer now, and join the queue, or leave it for a week or so till they have all the mess sorted out ?
Has anyone transferred ££ out recently with no delays ?0 -
I requested that my bond be transferred back to my savings account on the 6th Oct. this was only 4 days after I had taken it out well within the time I get to change my mind. I phone every day and send emails every day - to date no one has had the decency to reply to any emails and the answer I get every day is much the same they do not know when these bonds will be released. It is a very large amount but well within the limit that was covered by the fscs IN ENGLAND, I feel somehow the government sold us out I would not have invested in Kaupthing had it not been covered by the British system. Can we ever believe what they say now.0
