You should be entitled to get some help re the spaying. It can be expensive!
LEICESTERSHIRE: FREE neutering from Leicester & District CP, Tel: 01162 881318
I'm not sure if its just cats or cats & dogs but the RSPCA give neutering vouchers for people on benefit.
I was a bag of nerves when Cola got spayed (and quite tearful!) but she was great and back to her old self the next day!0 -

oo ty, might give them a call, not sure if they could be used as I get 20% off?0 -
I used spaywatch and they gave me £60 off the spay and told me if I wanted more money off I should contact the RSPCA who would probably fit the rest of the bill.
I got their number here :
http://www.catchat.org/neuter.html
and also is a list of low cost neutering schemes for different areas.
Hope its of some help0 -

pfttttttt well I just remembered the vile Papillon I lived with for 2yrs @ the kennels used to do it non stop & the owner never took her to be squeezed & she survived! lol
She's sleeping I think (Think she sleeps with her eyes open). She'll be excited later the Rats are being cleaned & so will be coming into their smaller holding tank! lollll tho she does seem to know pets in here are not for chasing or eating0 -
Cola started doing that in the park a few weeks ago when she was constipated but after a few days she was fine, it may be the case with Chaya.
I knew when Cola had finished her season cos her swollen bits were back to normal size! (Well that and no blood of course!) and it was 3 weeks almost to the day!0
