PS I agree with GW. We've stopped watching it altogether

winter sping onions, plant winter onion sets and plant some garlic cloves

you may also sow sweetpea's now usually October but a few days wouldn't matter

I was thinking the same, or whether outside plantings needed fleece.
I was also going to ask you if you were planting your spinach and lettuce in or out!

Anyone know where to get cheap onion sets from now? I'm sure that last year with my small beds, I paid more for the sets and seed potatoes than buying the veg would have cost me!

Thanks very much for the plans, have motivated me to dig over another bed in my veg plot. I have planted garlic, just normal one from supermarket or should i have used a special one from the garden centre.
Going to try and put my plot on a spreadsheet now. Thanks again.
