    Hi all

Sorry not been about today, I have been living it up at the day spa - now I am feeling a tad sore because my muscles in my back were tense and I feel as though I have been run over by a steamroller but I am so chilled out I don't care:rotfl:

I had a fab time - I even ventured outside for a dip in the plunge pool which is heated to 40 degrees, I had it all to myself and as it has water jets in it my feet had a good massage too. The whole experience was fab and if anyone gets the opportunity to go then they should.

I shall just help myself to a hot chocolate with marshmallows and maybe a small sprinkling of cinnamon. I have stirred the fire, shooed the cats away and put blankets on folks as everyone seems to be sleeping.

I've been wallowing in the spa so much, that I have wrinkled... so I'm sure virtual mince pies (baked another 2,309) with virtual brandy butter will unwrinkle me.
Oh the super soft towels and a massage have helped as well. I do love this virtual cafe, sets me up for the day.
Hope everyone enjoys the real day and pops in here for a virtual pick-me-up.

Mmmmmm.... mince pies and cream... just the job for a hangover! I'm afraid I had cross words with my lodger last night, and ended up furiously consuming a bottle of wine :o Seeing as I can hardly walk a straight line after one small glass, it was not a clever thing to do.

Oh, and I have put on 1lb this morning (don't tell the half-stoners )

*thinks* a day spa sounds like a good idea for when my sis comes to visit next week.... I'll have a browse round the internet once I've put my crimbo tree up (thats the job for today)

Yes please, I'll partake of mince pies and cream.:D

Keeping fingers crossed for Dr Dragon.

Magenta, Holly's welcome to come and sit with me if you want a wallow in the spa. I found a recipe called "Beefy Bickies for Doting Dogs" - perhaps she'd like to try some.

Daisy, sober up now.... we need you thinking straight.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Oooh yum mince pies and cream - I shouldn't really because I am on a diet:rolleyes: I bought myself a set of bathroom scales in Woolies the other day (£2.38) and was horrified to see that I am lurking somewhere between 12 and 13 stone:eek: That means that I have put on 4stone in the past 12 months:eek:  I must stop eating comfort food and start eating more than 1 meal a day - dunno why I have started doing that silly nonsense:rolleyes:

Maybe I should join the no more pies club? As for the day spa, methinks I will take out a 12 month membership so that I can go as many times as I want and get some discounts etc - regular back massages are sure to get rid of the tense muscles and maybe I should treat myself to a proper office chair that might help:D Roll on the January Sales.

I love the virtual food that we get in here as well as the virtual pets, friends, romans and everything else besides.:D

Lovely and sunny here in Essex. Slowly make some headway into clearing the study and bathroom from having new windows put in.I shall have a virtual mince pie and brandy cream, with coffee, whilst soaking in the spa.
Played Carols at Broxbourne Station and raised £476 for the Air Ambulance. All of us went back to the hall and had delicious soup and sandwiches, plus mulled wine and mince pies.
If you are in need of some rest and recuperation what better than a virtual mince pie and carols playing softly... Away in a Manger is lovely on bells.
