Just popped in to wish all the not so old crocks a belated Happy Christmas, a great New Year and a happier and healthier 2009.
Hope you all had a lovely and not too shattering day.Murphy was an optimist!!!0 -

A big mug of tea is just what I need! I hope you all had a lovely christmas day.
I had a lovely quiet day yesterday and I agree with Colin, this has been the worst christmas tv in history. I got so bored on 25th that I spent an hour or so tidying my wardrobe, and then another hour later on doing some decluttering! I'm recording a couple of films today to watch later on because there's not much on this evening either!
I'm cooking my self a nice piece of beef and trimmings for dinner tonight :j
Hope you all enjoy your day, whatever you're doing
Forgot to say, I've just left a big sherry trifle and a tray of sausage rolls. Enjoy!! Tomorrow we'll have some normal food - no more mince pies... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Thanks RosieBen, I think the only thing worth watching yesterday was Wallace and Gromit and because we didn't have the TV on we didn't catch it :rotfl:, I'll take a vegetarian sausage roll and head back to planning (sight of a Dragon diverting off to grab a large glass of red wine as well).Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Merry Christmas - hope you all had a fab day yesterday and that father christmas bought you some lovely presents.
I spent the time with my ex and he cooked dinner and we visited my parents when we exchanged presents. My parents gave me an M&S gift card with £50 on it as well as a Pink Amaryllis which I need to plant.
I am back home today, waiting for my dinner to thaw out. I have spent most of the morning watching the bbc news channel because there isnt anything to watch:rolleyes:
I watched Wallace & Gromit last night and that was about it - but I did end up watching a downloaded film Mamma Mia which is fab by the way and on Christmas Eve I watched another downloaded film Kung Fu Panda (these are legal downloads).
Think I will just flop here and have a mug of tea.0 -
Well the family has enjoyed the Lemsip Christmas. Coughing and spluttering abounded but enjoyment was unbounded.
Everyone has had medicinal brandy and instead of trawling round the shops for bargains that we don't need, we have spent the afternoon cruising (in the car) round Epping forest. Many like minded people enjoying the sun.
Thought I'd come in here and hand out anything that is needed.. opurs is a Lemsip and a cup of tea, plus Christmas Cake.:T:T:T:T:snow_laug

We had a lempsip Christmas too.
I couldn't get up yesterday. But I'm feeling a bit better today.
I'd like a virtual brandy as I can't have any alcohol with all this paracetamol.:DDebt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0
