    hello everyone

Sharon, what a horrible thing to happen, sounds like his policy is 'attack is the best form of defence' but unfortunately his 'you should have gone' wouldn't stand up in court, what a stupid man

bluedog and ally, hope you're feeling better now, and hope everyone else is feeling well. ;)

I went to the library and post office today and I was fine - the previous 3 trips I had to be rescued as I was ill! - I've been struggling with vertigo but the new tablets seem to be working well. crossfingers.gif

It was good to get some fresh air, a lovely cold fresh day and it started to snow whilst I was walking home snowing-1.gif but sadly not enough to last.

Take care all and see you soon

oh, nearly forgot, I came in to bring some Chrimbo lights

I upload my pics to photobucket, click on the 'direct link' option there, copy the link, come back to MSE and paste that into the box that pops up when you do the past image on here - the yellow square with the mountains in it! hth :)

the lights are supposed to twinkle :( just changed them for some that do twinkle!

sleep well and safe everyone, catch you tomorrow :)

Ouches all round then! Yes please to some of the porridge! can I start with a humongous mug of tea first before I have a hot toddy? I thank you!

Okay fire laid and lit, cats, dogs, birds and humans fed and watered! Jacket potatoes in the oven to start cooking, now I need coleslaw, prawns in Marie Rose sauce, cheese, ham, baked beans, chilli (meat and veggie), curry (likewise), cottage cheese (flavoured and plain) ...... anything I have forgotten for potato toppings? Three lots of soup on the go today, Mulligatawny, Chicken and Sweetcorn and Carrot and Caraway - lots of warming foods!

Morning all. I am feeling a lot better today after a marathon sleep .... about 14-15 hours!! I woke briefly a couple of times, but was out for the count my DS told me this morning and missed dinner in the process!

    Rosie - they're lovely lights!

Sharon - What an awful thing to happen and a very horrible man too. I agree with Rosie that the man's decision that the road was clear enough to go won't hold any water. Hope you've got yourself checked out too as like Daisy says, whiplash doesn't always come out straight away - got a t-shirt on that one as it took a week following an accident I had (and I got told off for not going sooner too). :grouphug:

I'm currently waiting for the surveyor to visit to assess what's to be done about the tree/plant that's growing out of my chimney. It's an on-going saga that I went to the CAB about in the end as my housing assosciation have deemed it up to me "if you want it removed" even though I've told them stuff is falling down inside the chimney breast. Apparently it doesn't come under their wear and repair criteria   ......... it's not as though I went and planted it up there so how can I be responsible for any damage it's doing?!!! They even told me off for blocking up the fireplace "it should have been bricked up if you don't use it" ... yet wouldn't listen that they let this house to me like it! So fingers crossed this goes ok.

Wow, we're in for a feast today Dragon ... will go and decide which to have later! You've also given me a few ideas on what to get for real -Thank you very much!!

If you are shunted up the backside, (by a car););) then whatever the mitigating circumstances are, IT IS ALWAYS THE SHUNTER WHO IS RESPONSIBLE, no ifs no buts.

Hi folks - woke up to thick snow here. Bit of a bummer as I had psyched myself up to go out to the shop today..... Oh well, good job I can pop in here to be fed and watered :D

I'll just help myself to a small bowl of porridge with skimmed milk and a small round of wholemeal toast - today is day one of my 'count down to christmas' diet :o

Have you seen the doc yet, Sharon?

Going to curl up on the sofa with a book and watch the snowflakes through the window ......
