No one here again this morning..best open up again, clear out the ash and re-set the fire, chase cats out again, feed crumbs to the birds. Hot coffee is on the go, a fine selection of tea available both herbal and otherwise. Brunch things ready, bacon, eggs, sausages, caerphilly sausages (for the veggies), crusty bread.

Hot food on the go too - two types of lasagne on the go, meat and vegetarian, roast onion and red pepper tartlet, soup (any flavour). Also cakes galore: take your pick anything available.

Must dash now - nothing will boil over and everything will be ready - I need to go to the bank.

Just popped head in as got to go shopping.Dragon hope your ok-bet your foot will be some pretty colours by now.I did same last yr and was black and blue-it shakes you up as well doesnt it.
Well have put fire on so it will be warm and welcoming for next visitor.will come for cake and comfort later.

Dragon, how's your poor ankle today? Sorry to hear you've gone base over apex again. Perhaps you should start going up and down the stairs on your backside (that's what I used to do when I still lived in a house with stairs).

Folks, I won't be around much, if at all next week. Mr LW is using up his annual leave, so we'll be ..... er..... otherwise occupied. (Get your mind out of the gutter, Alto).

Anyway, I've got some mushroom stroganoff for the lunch menu today - it's a favourite of mine.

If I could just have a nice black coffee - with a slug of whiskey as it's a cold day. Cheers.:beer:

Ankle this afternoon is a football, bruising come up on my tum and bust, pelvis hurts (think I cracked that again as well :mad:), if there is any of that three bean chilli left in the fridge from a couple of days back can I have some of that on a jacket spud please? Along with a mulled cider (want the warmth!)

I've had this awful bug that's going around - been in bed since last Friday... only got up on Wednesday and had a bath so my carer could change the sheets. Still very weak but did manage to have a bath again yesterday, so I shouldn't smell too bad now

I won't tell you how many candles I will need - daren't have candles as I might set fire to the place:eek:

I have already had a lovely present from Dove - they sent me a little box containing a card and a 50ml bottle of body lotion. I have to stay in tomorrow morning because a box of Matter is to be delivered to me - I can't wait to see what I will get.

Can't believe it, I have just looked at my window box and my geraniums are still flowering - mind it is a sheltered balcony:D
