Afternoon peeps - I see I am too late for lunch so maybe an early dinner might be in order:

1 chilli with rice - no quacamole or sour cream
and 1 Sussex Pond Pudding oh and maybe a large mug of English breakfast tea. Thanks Dragon you are a star:A

Poor LW - having the lurgy is horrid and I have every sympathy with you as I had it earlier (about Sept/Oct time), am hoping to stay well. I am always ill on my birthday (this Saturday) and at Christmas:rolleyes:

Have been out and about today and bought 2 hexmas presents using 2 £10 Waterstones vouchers (free money from consumerpulse) and saved £7 in total on said books and got some points for my shiny new Waterstones card.:j

No problem Horace, do you want cream or custard with the Pond Pudding?

Sorry I missed your posting Dragon - I wonder if Alto thinks that Sussex Pond Pudding is savoury like Toad in the Hole:rotfl:

    Good evening all,

I'm ravenous tonight and popped in to find a fantastic dinner menu - thanks Dragon! I'll help myself to wild mushrooms, fish pie and sticky toffee pudding please. The orange pastry mince pies sound delicious and will go very nicely with a brandied coffee to finish it all off with.

Dragon - Well done on completing your NaNoWriMo - that's a lot of words!!!!

LW - hope you feel better soon.

We're going christmas shopping after I've been to the hospital tomorrow, armed with £130 worth of vouchers I've saved throughout the year. I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I've amassed when totting it up tonight so can't wait to splurge (and maybe treat myself to a little something too :D ). I'm planning to get all pressies bought wrapped as soon as possible this year to save my energy for enjoying the festivities for a change.

Good luck for the hospital today and hope you have a fab time shopping with your vouchers.

As I am first in, I had better open up, - fire is stoked, cats put out, coffee on the go, porridge on the hob, jacket spuds in the oven, various hot toppings made - leftovers can be used up.

Oh and I scraped Alto's Pond Pudding with Gravy into the pig bin.

    Hope y'all have nice day.

Ye Gods and Little Fishes! 13.30 all ready! Bludog enjoy spending your savings! Horace thanks for setting up the lunch service, any chance of a bowl of mushroom soup and a mozzerella, basil and tomato panini over here please?

I will sit quietly in a corner for a while and muse on this evenings menu .... any preferences folks?
