Hi everyone.
I'm still snuffling, I'm afraid. Never mind, hopefully it'll go soon. I want to be well by the weekend as Mr LW has next week off work to use up his annual leave.:o
Dragon I hope you haven't eaten all the mushroom soup, I could just fancy some of that.:p
BTW what is Sussex Pond Pudding? If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Still some mushroom soup left, someone else is on dinner tonight I'm afraid I just slipped and wrenched my damaged ankle again, pain killer city again
Sussex Pond Pudding is lemon suet pudding, it contains a whole lemon that really softens up

Brilliant, thanks for that, Dragon. I'll have a go at making it once I'm feeling better.
Sorry about your poor ankle; come and join me in the "poorly corner" - what would you like to wash down your painkillers? If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

I will confess I fancy trying it myself - well getting Dr Dragon to have a go at making it :rotfl:

Dragon - methinks you should have had more tea with the falling down water that you must have consumed this afternoon:rolleyes: Hope you feel better soon and to be honest that's the best excuse I have heard for getting out of making the dinner:D
I have been busy today - the charity shop trolley/table has had a nice coat of varnish after being lovingly sanded down over the last couple of days. I found some Ronseal stuff that dries in 20 minutes and after two coats it has certainly done the trick.
I have been promised some balloons for my stand at the wedding fair next year. Another shop invited me to have a stand at their wedding show the following weekend and told me that it costs £115 plus VAT and includes dinner (wow wee) I won't be having a stand.
I recently donated some raffle prizes to something called FastAid (like paramedics but they get there first and deal with minor injuries etc) and so my chum who has organised the event has said that she will put my web address on the raffle tickets as a sponsor:j
I am trying to be very MSE but it is proving difficult at the mo - my poor credit card has about £5K on it but thankfully it is one of those 0% cards so I end up spending on other cards and transferring the balance. At least when my business starts earning then I shall at least be able to get the money back - I may even be able to claim some from the tax man:D
Just a hot cuppa for me please.0 -
Ankle is totally kerfuggered at the moment, I needed to go upstairs and my ankle gave way again and I slid down the stairs head first again, I ache all over and I think tomorrow I will have some more cracking bruises, I'm sure people think Dr Dragon beats me up and that is the last thing he would ever do!
I wouldn't mind but I hadn't had any alcohol since last Friday!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

You didn't come over snippy - I know how much it hurts when you fall down stairs, mine was a very clumsy attempt to "learn" to post in the dead of night!
How do you get a smily in to text? I didn't do it right at all. Mind you, I do have a cat chasing my mouse.Murphy was an optimist!!!0
