Coooooo! You lot are quiet today, have y'all got laryngitis?

I woke up to a beautiful frosty scene, all the trees were white. They've stayed like that all day, so I'm presuming it is cold outside

I've brought some mulled wine and hot mince pies to warm us all up

Finally made it in today. Lovely decorations and it's so colourful and tasteful too - definitely bright and cheery.

Common sense prevailed for once so DS has happily taken my place to see the band tonight as the sciatica, hip and knee won't play ball still. It has settled a bit but I know I'll be in real trouble if I'd have gone. Oh well, there's always next year I guess as they do tour a lot.

Sharon59 - you're welcome to join me anytime for a brandy (or otherwise) - hope you were able to enjoy the party :) .

Toast and butter sounds good (as I can't be bothered to cook in reality) and a large mulled wine too please.

Fires are stoked so it's lovely and warm in here too. The cats are currently hogging the seats so they're ready warmed too :D ........ if you can get them to move!!

Oh poor Sharon, big hugs - what a horrible fright - and a horrible man. Get yourself checked out hun - it can be days or weeks before whiplash becomes apparent.

Also it would be an idea to get the car checked over, a rear end shunt can leave chassis damage that isn;t immediately obvious (I have experience of this.... can you tell )

Just helping myself to a medicinal brandy ;)

    xx
