Hi Gemmzie, good to see you.
Okay, I'll just have a quick sweep round and wash the counters down, and lock up for the night... key under the flowerpot as usual.

ME your trip sounds wonderful, what a brilliant present :T
I've just nipped in for a midnight milk, and now I'm off to bed. I've left everything tidy for the morning. Hope that you're all sleeping snug and comfortable.
We had some snow today but not too much, but I gather that most of us will see some snow on weds.night/thurs am :snow_grin
night all... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Cor, we are white over here. We had quite a lot of snow yesterday, and then more overnight. Very pretty, but not when I have to go out in it.... like today...
I've put loads of baked spuds in the oven and theres some HM veggie soup on the stove. And apple crumble and custard for afters made with apples from my tree.
I'm being taken out for lunch in the 'real world' so I'll pop in for coffee when I get back.
Daisy x
PS - I've switched the heating on full and thrown some more logs on the fire... we seem to have a few visitors to the cafe who aren't saying much (hello and welcome, no need to chat, just come and enjoy the company if you wish) don't want anyone getting cold xxxI'm a retired employment solicitor. Morning all,
No snow here still, although Fack Frost had a busy night.
This weather is beginning to affect my brain ...... good job I double checked my hospital appointment date as I'd written it down for today on the calendar. Thought it was odd it was only a week between appointments this time .
I haven't heard the weather reports Rosie so thanks for that. I was debating whether to go into town today or wait for the market tomorrow so it's off shopping again today. I'm going to my local one so I won't end up over-doing like last week.
I'll get a large hot chocolate with just a tiny, tiny nip of brandy as I write my list.
Sharon - Please, please listen to Horace and get checked out at A & E. They won't think you're being silly at all and like Horace, and I am still suffering the affects of the whiplash too (my accident was in 1998.)
M.E. - Sounds like you had a great time :T0 -
Morning all
We have had a hard frost today, I didnt drag myself out of bed until 8.45am because I was just too warm and snug. Mind you, my brain must have frozen because I was convinced it was Thursday and how I am off to a quiz night so I as thinking what to wear and wondering if it will be an icy walk:rolleyes: I have to walk under a railway tunnel where there is no footpath and only one car can go through at a time - its quite scary.
I think I will just have a hot chocolate with some marshmallows on the top and a tiny sprinkle of cinnamon...I need to get by the fire as it is just so cold.0 -
I'm thinking no salad is needed today! Not even as a garnish with the jacket potatoes, right I'm about to make a HUGE dish of Dauphinoise Potatoes, carrot batons, braised red cabbage (with apple), glazed roast gammon/warm mixed pepper terrine.
If that sounds fine for the evening meal? Hot chocolate sponge for afters I reckon as well.
