Oh, and I hope they can sort your shoulders out soon, even being able to self propel for a little bit gives you that bit more independence, I can get round a small shop or parts of a shop if it's got smooth shiny floors! Have you considered getting an electric chair?

Thanks for the suggestion Oscar but he likes that bowl and that bowl only...I dread to think what will happen if that bowl gets broken, it tooks weeks of wailing, refusing to eat and temper tantrums the last time that happened.

He is still being a stroppy begger today, he just can't cope with not being completely well and will confuse the feelings he is experiencing and it comes out as anger.

Grrr, if it is not one child, it's one of the others!

Honestly, I have the bowl issue too, though not with a bowl. I have a mug with smiling flying pigs on it, and nobody else can use it. It completely freaks me out if they do and I can't use it again unless I bleach it and leave it for a week.

I really think the only way to solve that is to just be careful about which bowl you use. It's not easy on everyone, but it is not a hard problem to solve, just needs some attention paid is all.

I agree, it was just a mistake whilst I was tired/stressed and he was tired/stressed and in pain, which made him react slightly more than usual. I can usually calm him down and explain it was a mistake and although he will still be stressy over it, it is not usually as bad as it was.

I've had to do the bleach/sterilise with boiling hot water route and he has pointed out the little nodule of extra ceramic which marks his bowl out as his...yes you need a microscope to see it but it is as plain as day to him!

Can you guys have different bowls? Or is it that he likes that they're the same as yours but not?

If he's anything like me, it'd just be that it's that specific bowl it's his and nobody else uses it. 's how I am with my mug.

I went out with my parents (Mr & Mrs Cookie-Monster?) at the weekend. Mr Cookie-Monster tends to forget that I have feet and that they stick out further than anything else when I'm sitting in my wheelchair. I don't have much feeling in my feet any more so it wasn't a pain issue - it's more that after you've knocked over 3 displays, you really need to leave the shop!! I'm looking forward to the day they manage to sort my neck and shoulders out so I can self propel!!
Oh dear Oscar.:D I can relate..... Mr LW is just as bad when he's pushing my wheelchair, specially if I'm wearing my Goblinkicker boots, which have extra long, pointy toes!:rotfl:
I can self-propel, at least on a smooth level surface, but I get tired doing this extremely quickly.
The worst thing is he always pushes me too close to the person in front if we're in a queue - ideally I like people to be at least 2 yards away from me!:D

Hoping everyone's having as good a Tuesday as possible.:o

Sho - gruns, according to the Rheumy.
Sounds like a car model :D

Perhaps I can get the car and not the syndrome - that would be nice for a change!

    Exactly that!

Plus, if I get new bowls, it causes a whole new set of problems not just with middle but with youngest too as it is a change...and they don't like change.
