    Good morning!

I think you did the right thing with going to the doctors. No one on here could have advised you without being able to see it and it's definitely better safe than sorry by speaking to the doctor!
    ^ ^ ^ Wot she said.
SingleSue, think how bad you'd have felt if you'd done nothing and it had turned out to be something awful. I'm glad it wasn't anything horrible, but Jaz is right - better to bother the doc and have your mind put at rest.

Hello, I thought I'd say Hi in here as it seems like the thing to do.

I would love a hot chocolate and carrot cake but for some as yet completely undiagnosed reason food seems to make me fall asleep especialy sweet foods. So green tea and a rice cake is all I can have.

I'm actualy feeling pretty positive today though despite feeling lethargic and genraly rubbish as usual but I'm looking on-line at tents and really can't wait for the spring as my whole family go camping a lot from March onward till it gets too cold.

It's not the simplest undertaking when sunlight hurts and blinds me but I'm still an outdoory kinda girl so as long as we can get a lift there (or maybe have our own car again) to make the trip shorter and to let me hide from much of the sun in the car instead of having to walk to and from each bus to try and get there it should be ok. Everybody in the family who has a motor home has a big canopy on it or an awening and sometimes we take a gazibo too so I've plenty of places to hide.

Keeing an eye on the kids is hard tough but that's why going with family is so good because we alllook out for eachother and for eachothers kids too. I also trip over guy ropes a lot but oh well, sitting round a BBQ with a drink and some melted marshmallows make it all worthwhile (but only a couple followed with more green tea to make me beter then another glass of wine lol). It's great when the sun sets that's when I can really come out of my shell.

It's funny how sometimes it can really feel like everything that possibly could go wrong is going wrong but still we keep going and look forward to the bright things.

*Sticks head out of lurkdom to say hi and also welcome (sorta) back to TOBRUK*

I'm actually doing this on my phone in bed (can't quite sleep yet) so can't reply to much, but wanted to bob in and say hi to old faces and new :)

bigzippy, hi and thank you.:) It's like bumping into an old friend ... kind of! How are you these days? I remember you were on that fibro thread which just disappeared - whatever happened to it ... or shouldn't I ask? Sorry too much to answer on your phone!! ;) I haven't gone to bed yet - taken my meds over an hour ago but so far no relief .. that is not a good sign. Anyway, hope you get to sleep soon and maybe we can have coffee sometime soon.:D

Hope you have a great birthday Trialia

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Thank you all! :) I'm going out to dinner with a group of my friends tonight, and my choir are having a little party for me before practice, so I'm being thoroughly spoiled today. :D
