  • Oscar Way to go!! I don't see why we shouldn't be rebellious crocks!

lw I understand. I can't stop sleeping at the moment and it's frustrating as I'm not seeing enough daylight to get anything reasonable done even if it's just reading or knitting.
I'll pass on the wine, but the biccies sound yummy!

You're managing knitting with your dodgy wrist??
Maybe you're sleeping so much because you need to? You are trying to repair your body after all..? ;)

Puzzled, ami works best when taken every day, that's what it's designed for :)

Dr has upped my amitriptyline to 20mg and it's improved my sleep dramatically the last couple of nights which has been bliss, I was alsleep by 11.30 last night which is practically unheard of! I doubt it will last though as on 15mg the sleep improvement lasted 1 night, however it was upped mainly for pain... Unfortunatley it's making me feel nauseas which is a pain, and I've had some pretty bad stomach pains which I'm putting down to it to, just a case of waiting for everything to settle down!

Came on to recommend Graze boxes... Not moneysaving- though if you head over to the referers board then there should be some codes to get one free and the second half price (£1.49) or I'm happy to PM someone my code, as I then get £1 off my next box! there aren't any ties to make you get any more boxes past the free one, both my parents had just the free one- they've been making a big difference to my days when I've had them, something to look forward to and yummy healthy treats with no preparation, today my box had fresh pineapple, pistachios, and raisins, though you rate the foods on there and they send you a random selection... :)

Am slowly getting somewhere, I've sat up for a total of 40 minutes throughout the day today which is a big improvement and am resting every 20-30 minutes for 10 minutes... boooooring ;) but it's making a difference, this is week 3 of 22 hours+ in bed but I've got dressed today and yesterday!
  • HOW FANTASTIC WAS THAT!!!!!!!!!!

Went to the shopmobility place and had a chat to "The Oracle". Got some pointers from him, including details of another organisation in the local area that he's a trustee of that deals with the benefits side of things.

THEN THEY GAVE ME SOME WHEELS!!!!!!

They asked me if I was a careful driver (I lied) and gave me one of the big jobbies!! Top speed of 8mph. When you're dealing with a town centre, 8mph is definitely fast enough thank you very much!!! I don't think I got above about 5, but I had great fun!

Only lasted about an hour before I was completely pooped - spent 3 hours in bed this afternoon! I used to drive quite happily at (slightly above) the speed limit on motorways for hours on end. A year later, a vehicle that can't keep up with DD on her bike manages to tire me out in 60 minutes!

DW and I used to enjoy long walks along the seafront and around the countryside. With my legs having given up the ghost, I thought that was a thing of the past. Now, I can hire a scooter for a charitable donation and we can go back to experiencing one of our favourite passtimes - albeit somewhat altered. Pillaging the hedgerows for wine/beer ingredients is out of the question, but at least we can get out and about now!

Before the accident, I was 1 promotion from the board of directors. Now, I'm 1 step away from collecting nettles for beer and elderflowers to make champagne! What do you think the chances are of Range Rover moving into the mobility scooter market?
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.

she has a habbit of disappearing when anyone questions something she has said or offers advice she doesnt like, it appears, she will turn up again at some point, dont worry.

I think that was quite unnecessary, to be honest, and I'm quite hurt. I'll retire from this thread, I used to feel really welcome but I don't anymore. And I was getting over a sickness bug, rather then disappearing because I didn't like the advice.

    Puzzled, I'll PM you.

I hope you all feel much better soon, and find tablets that work for you.

Invasion, I love Graze boxes too. I've been getting them for just over a year. Saves me getting lots of fruit and not eating all of it, and this way I still get some. :)

Ooh, I get graze boxes too! They are a nice treat and are great to nibble at over the day. I have narrowed it down to everything I really like now, so they are fun.

I think I preferred it when they weren't sending fruit though, because I keep forgetting to eat the fruit quickly, then have to throw out rotten fruit!
